This speaks to the importance of good tendu, literally the first half of this video is dedicated to that movement. My students sometimes ask when they get to do the "fun" stuff. It's not as fun and can be dangerous if you don't have good tendu!

There's no local studios where I live that teach adults regularly, so this is such a treasure to have. I especially love/hate all the plies 😂 Such a helpful turn out reminder, which tells my hypermobile quads and hamstrings how to fire properly, whether they want to or not 😂 Speaking of fire, I was dripping sweat by minute 36 🔥 I ❤ it because it's also like a complex puzzle box that's fun to solve.

I have a question - is it possible for you to create a video for lower level ballet students (Level 1 or Level 2 of Vaganova method) or even some of the lower level floor exercises from the Vaganova method?? I am working on finessing basics of core strength and balance during covid isolation. It would be wonderful to see a class at the lower level of the Vaganova method from someone who attended Vaganova and excelled in the methods.
This is breathtaking and so amazing, but this is not beginner level :( I wish you share with us some very simple plié, tendu, jeté, etc... excercises. Step by step.
