This is very helpful, I would love to see a video on quilting when the top has been embroidered and also how to work with bigger quilts as they present their own set of situations.

Great hint with the Ultra clean and tear plus leader. I use scraps of polymesh machine basted along edge for same purpose but this idea saves the basting step

Omgosh, Ty soo much! I never thought to take the thread out of my Pigtail in my Janome Mb4. All this time, I have been reducing my Bobbin tension from 20 grams to 10 grams. Then, I have to crank up the Top tension as high as it will go. Then, I have to use Brothread 30 wt Cotton on Top (so it won't stretch) and Sew Fine 50 wt in the Bobbin (so it will stretch). Now, I am so curious to see what would happen if I took the Thread out of the Pigtail. Ty again!
I actually quilt in the hoop with the Nested Blocks on my website. I just don’t like the 2 ugly ties on top of each other, that we see with End to End QITH. And for lining up the next hooping, I use a Ghost Template that I created in Embird Embroidery Software, and then printed it on Template material using my Cricut Maker. Or better yet, I could print my Ghost Templates on your OESD Sticky Templates!
Here is Part 9 of my Quilt in the Hoop series. It's on a Janome Mb4, but the hooping concept is the same for all machines. At 22 minutes is where I hoop the Quilt: ruclips.net/video/WcKxeEngRzQ/видео.html

So I have the open swirl block border #2 and corner #2. I'm ready to do the border and corners I don't know what I'm missing but can not get the border and corners to connect so frustrating I've spent so much time and using mysewnet and printing off design and have gotten nowhere.
