Lovely video and house. I just want to point out that the stone work was hand laid by Michael Byrne, who specializes in the old world Italian style stone masonry, with every piece hand chiseled. He has done numerous other projects in the region, including work at timberline lodge, repaired monastaries, created lookouts overlooking the cliffs above the Columbia river among others and is known around the world for his his work.
Oh wow, I didn't know about him! Thank you for sharing!
That deer faucet is everything to me
Right??
Your joy in these clips is so infectious!! 😍 This place is STUNNINGLY beautiful. I literally gasped at the deer head faucet. And if I could have a big, round glass door like the one you saw when you first came in, I could die happy!! What a great episode, this is all set up to be THEE coziest show and I can't wait for the next one!
Thank you friend!! It was stunning, and there were still so many details beyond what I was able to include! Thanks so much for watching and so happy you enjoyed it 🥰
That place is absolutely breathtaking! I could have used another 10 minutes of just the camera slowly lingering over every detail...or maybe 20....or 30...
Haha, noted!! Maybe I'll put up a B roll video that's literally just all my footage...
Oh my god, seriously, what a stunning place! Both the scenery and the house itself, how beautiful!
Your wonder and excitement are everything!
What a gorgeous little house!!!!
this is such a cozy video!!!
The details are so beautiful, the house is a piece of art! I love that you let us know about some history about the house as well as information about the area around it! Very hobbit-y vibes and definitely a lovely installment of Hobbit Houses of America!
Thank you Lisel! Thank you for contributing and watching!
That house is amazing. So many cool details.
OMG this place is absolutely gorgeous, I love all the beautiful, whimsical details everywhere. 😍
Right?? Thank you for watching!
From the moment you first showed it onscreen I knew this place was going to be magical but wowow, everything about it looks so idyllic and beautiful. The drive there (Columbia valley 😍), the location on the top of a hill surrounded by trees and pastures. And then inside! All those details. So much thought and care put into everything! Clearly Theresa put a lot of effort in and all the better for it. Definitely something to keep in mind for a future Portland area trip.
Yes! You must! Everything about it was breathtaking.
your vids are always so authentic, and they come straight from the heart!
....and apparently the house has an EV car charger! Very nice!
Getting away from the developed areas is always fun; you can see so many stars at night....
Speaking of night: several of the reviews for the house reference/hint-at the back patio containing stones/pebbles which glow in the dark. How was that?
Wow, I somehow missed that completely, but that's so cool! Guess I'll have to go back!
you should visit the Eco Shire in southern california!!! they're building hobbit houses on the campground available to rent out
Ooh I do not know about this! Thank you for the recommendation!
This is one of the most calming videos I've ever watched. This pace is absolutely stunning.
Here to create calm hobbit content 🫡

This turned out great!! Awesome job, what a delightful hobbit hole! 💜💜💜
Thank YOU for letting me know about it!!
I live not far from there and never knew theres a hobbiy 🏠. How adorable. The video is so soothing to watch and listen to.
I love all the details in this beautiful hobbit house, but that bathroom is on a whole other level! 😍 That deer faucet! That pebbled floor! That intricate shower drain! 🤩
It was amazing! I wish I could have gotten more shots of all of it, but it's very small so it was difficult to get wide views of it. But yeah, absolutely gorgeous.
I love all things gnomes, hobbit houses and forest animals. Glad I found your vi🦔🌲🐿🌳🦌🌲🦊🌲
Extremely beautiful and cozy! I’m amazed at the attention to detail and love and effort put in this house! Your stay must have been truly wonderful 😊
Would love to visit some day - somebody please get me so money 😅

Thank you so much for watching!
Oh my goodness I'm not a west coastie and I still feel like this is a must visit place! 😍
It absolutely is! But don't worry, next two houses will be more middle of the US/east coast!
Wooow this place is stunning! What a great find! Also loved the music in the background of the video ❤
Oh thank you so much! Thank you for watching and helping make it happen! ❤️
This is my favorite Hobbit home I've seen so far. The aesthetic details and architecture are exquisite! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Wow, this home is really beautiful, and it’s in my approximate neck of the woods… I may have to check it out 👀
Go do it!!
What an absolute dream!!
This is beautiful and amazing. I hope it survives the forest fire near Mosier right now.🤞
Oh my gosh, I shrieked when I saw the windows and the bed nook! I’m absolutely in love. From the rock work to the door handles, everything is gorgeous. I am so ready to see this whole series! 💚✨
Thank you so much! Thank you for watching! Very excited to continue this quest! :)
Happy Birthday Mary. I wish everyone a happiest of birthday's and also I believe that no matter what age we turn in 2024 that everyone should celebrate it in any way that they can and do it the best that they want to with friends and family. It should be celebrated in an awesome way.
The details! Every little thing is so magical. I especially loved the mosaics. Great job on the filming and editing! Looking forward to finding out your next location!
Thank you so much! Thank you for supporting and for watching! :)
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful house! That fireplace is stunning!
A gorgeous and charming place! The details are lovely.
Well, now I definitely want a hobbit hole of my own one day. (Not that it’s that much of a stretch 😊). Gorgeous house and episode!
I fully support this dream.
I'm so excited to begin this tour! Thank you for showing us this wonderful piece of nature. Stunning.
Thank you for watching!!

Thank you for watching, and contributing!! ❤️
Love this series!! Wonderful video, keep em coming!!
Thanks my friend!! Hobbit adventures forever!
Hurray for the gorge! Clearly I need to make the trek from Portlandia
Yes you should!!
so cool!
Beautiful home!
5:40 - such a cute dress!~ 💙💙
Stunning ❤
Breathtaking Hobbit home with perfectly matched details :)
But why did someone attach external stairs in a completely different style?
I need the hutch in the living room
💝💝💝💝💝💝
PNW love AND hobbit holes? I'm in.
It’s not remotely a hobbit house but it’s a charming little place.
Eastern Oregon is not a place I would expect this. Thousands of acres of wheat fields and farmers.
😍🎩💖✨
Does anyone know what this goes for a night? It is booked out entirely so there is no way on airbnb to see what it rents for as far as I can see.
She said about $500 a night.
The price is too high for most people.
What a waste of money. How much land comes with that shed?
