Autotuner Tool Overview & Bench Mode Demonstration

- I have been a user of the Autotuner Automotive Tool for quite a while and think it is an invaluable tool.
As shown in the video it is a a well constructed device and has a very user friendly easy to use interface.
The only negative for the tool is that it needs to be online THE WHOLE TIME whilst in use, including all the way through the ECU write which can be an issue sometimes.

If you do the work on the bench how would you transfer the file into the ecu...is there a adapter that plugs up to the ECU?
bench tuning is used for cars that dont have obd connectors right my quetion is about merc old 38 pin obd2 cant we use an adapter from 38 pin to normal obd port and then tune it as car that have an obd2 or no

I have a slave tool from autotuner. Is it possible to buy different files from different masters? For example: master 1 cannot do a launch control but can do a stage 2 tune. I get that stage 2 tune from master1. After that i buy a launch controll tune from master2. Is that possible?

Hi Raz this, like Ktag, is just a tool you would need to sort files yourself and usually a file supplier will have a reg lookup or you can manuall6search the tool. This and Ktag are very different tools. Ktag is just for direct ECU work wheres this kind of combines Ktag and Kess. Has less coverage but is a better more stable tool
Speed Tweaks what about dpf delete? Was this a stage one remap you did?

How do you fix killing an ECU as you mentioned
great video was thinking of buy this tool but if i buy the master tool,does that means i can buy files from file supplier or must the file supplier also have an autotuner tool?
If you buy the master version you can buy files from any file supplier

Was this a master or slave? If I was to get a slave one can I upload/download maps for other suppliers? If there is a seller that sells the tune I need can I upload it to the car or must it be done the master? Also if you did a obd remap do you need to have power connected to the autotuner?
Master. If you get a slave it will be locked to one master. The tool draws power from the vehicle via obd, but the vehicle will need to be on battery support

@@ken2dal Exactly, its encrypted to your master. And writing a file from one vehicle to another, no matter how similar isn't how it works. They contain vehicle specifics, immo info etc

It's great and very stable. Just make sure you know you need to always have food internet when using it

So this tool read only flash? Not read full or eeprom separately?
No, the tool is kind of laid out for tuning. So this read of the flash is stored in whatever location you choose. But if you look on video around 19.15 you will see there is full ecu backup stored in zip file elsewhere. Can be used for working outside of maps area for immo work, cloning (depending on OTP), non tuning modifications etc.
I tried attach image but cannot, will see if I find time to make more in depth video later this week.
The not working offline takes this brand one that I cannot use. We work in many rural areas.
For 4000 euro this tool can make immo off and DPF off ECU Siemens ppd 1.1
I still don’t get the difference between slave and master. Are they two different products ?

Thuận Nguyễn Đức the master can alter the files and actually change the full capabilities of the ECU where as the slave can only communicate to one master that only read sand writes from the ECUz

AutoTuner is fast. Its fine. SW looking good. But have many mistakes. This is overpriced tool for begginers. Cables is low cost china quality. Bench backup is stupid. Bosch Boot adapter not included. Big disappointment for me.
