I'm from Agra and the general ticket is the worst way to travel with a family. If I were to be with my father or brother, I'd take general due to lower costs but no way I'm going general with women of my family. It isn't comfortable, too noisy, safety issues and people want to sit beside you if there's space. Unhygienic toilets and overall horrible experience all throughout the northern India.
