This is simply great. I really enjoy the songs you choose. Had you only been around when we had to try to figure these out decades before RUclips. Watching these always make me say, “oh, that’s how they did it”. Great channel!
I was at a Todd Rundgren concert about ten years ago. The Emcee came out to introduce the band, with Todd standing right behind him, and said that, among other things, that Todd played the solo to this song. Todd did not contradict him. Take it for what it's worth. Of course, Todd did produce the album. Which solo the Emcee was referring to I didn't catch. Although it sounds like the fast repeating five note phrase to me.
Interesting for sure... If you plug in We're An American Band 1973 Studio Footage, you can catch just enough of Mark playing the licks... including that killer quintuplet. Is it Todd? I don't know - The solo has a lot of classic Farner in it though.
Great lesson and great job teaching!
Congratuletions exelent song. Wish you to learn how to play hearthbreaker The grand Funk. PLEASE Howard.
Great rock sound! Thanks.
Great job man. Thx for your time and great lesson

Thanks for this help on this solo that has more to it than people think.
