A lot of the pubs scoffed at the rear end, yet I think it is definitely the best looking part of the car.

I was in high school when these came out. They definitely looked like an exotic car, ESPECIALLY from the rear.
It was almost like a bubbly looking little Lambo Gallardo if Lamborghini would ever make one lol.
The exhaust sound sealed the deal on top of that because it was VERY distinctive and sounded fantastic stock.
      Good times :’)

Gorgeous car and they're still lookers till today. What I don't understand is why some people change their car seat to racing seats or change the steering wheel. I still have my 2003 G35 Coupe with 83K on it and so far it's going strong.

Downside to them. Interior degrades quickly if they arent very well maintained and kept in a garage, paint fades in most colors paint chips off of plastic painted surfaces on all of them, oil must be changed on time everytime and checked level regularly or you will be replacing your engine, luckily you can get a 50k jdm engine for 800 bucks.use only o.e. or better electronics cam, crank, maf etc or its likely the new part wont last or w9nt work properly from the gwt go.Make sure the crankcase is vented well and working properly, base model front rotors warp easily, suspension components will need replaced after about 100k. These are really the only issues ive encountered working on them for years. The vqde engine is great and the manual or auto is very smooth. For a 3300 lb. Car it still today feels very agile and quick. Simple bolt ons, tune, tire upgrade and possibly some nice seats itll be a fun track car! Id say its basically analog enough to call it analog compared to todays cars and that makes it a keeper.
