i had a 2003 g35 coupe black with brembo brakes when it came out. man was this car a looker back then. people looked at them like it was an exotic car when it first came out
I was in high school when these came out. They definitely looked like an exotic car, ESPECIALLY from the rear. It was almost like a bubbly looking little Lambo Gallardo if Lamborghini would ever make one lol. The exhaust sound sealed the deal on top of that because it was VERY distinctive and sounded fantastic stock. Good times :’)
Very true I remember one of my neighbors having one when I was around 12 years old, I remember thinking it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. I was so mesmerized
Same here I also have an o4 coupe 6sp and just bought an o6 6sp coupe only because I wanted to revup engine im keeping them both super fun cars to work on and drive. Soon too be hard to find.
Gorgeous car and they're still lookers till today. What I don't understand is why some people change their car seat to racing seats or change the steering wheel. I still have my 2003 G35 Coupe with 83K on it and so far it's going strong.
Downside to them. Interior degrades quickly if they arent very well maintained and kept in a garage, paint fades in most colors paint chips off of plastic painted surfaces on all of them, oil must be changed on time everytime and checked level regularly or you will be replacing your engine, luckily you can get a 50k jdm engine for 800 bucks.use only o.e. or better electronics cam, crank, maf etc or its likely the new part wont last or w9nt work properly from the gwt go.Make sure the crankcase is vented well and working properly, base model front rotors warp easily, suspension components will need replaced after about 100k. These are really the only issues ive encountered working on them for years. The vqde engine is great and the manual or auto is very smooth. For a 3300 lb. Car it still today feels very agile and quick. Simple bolt ons, tune, tire upgrade and possibly some nice seats itll be a fun track car! Id say its basically analog enough to call it analog compared to todays cars and that makes it a keeper.
Super reliable car! I have an o4 6sp coupe for 7 years it’s never broke down ever never left me on the road super easy to work on timeless car really. I went as far as buying an o6 revup and it’s gem. Just do your maintenance!
Crazy that by 2011 the G37 IPL made 348 horses but only 276 pound feet of torque. How do you make almost 70 more horsepower with a bigger engine but almost no extra torque???
@pontiacGXPfan I know how but explain why no extra torque. It's like they did it on purpose. I bet you they did because they know they used a weak transmission.
@@domcooper8992No, I have the right to my own opinion. The G35 coupe was the ancestor to the Q60. The interior of the Q60 is an improvement from the interior of the G35. Thanks and have a good one.
A lot of the pubs scoffed at the rear end, yet I think it is definitely the best looking part of the car.

Their body line still hold up today in my opinion, these aged great

It's aged like a fine wine
I was obsessed with this car in high school. I wanted so bad.
I still have and love mine 04 brembo 6speed 125k miles

Racer boy culture...
@@nabahmadi5012 Makes sense
The seats are known for going bad, so i can see why some people want different seats instead of paying for multiple seat replacements potentially
@@supersega223 That's good to know because my seat is ripped a little and I was thinking of patching up the leather. I guess I won't now.
@benchod3576 Oh, you still could patch it if you know how, but if it keeps ripping, then changing it may be the last option
this car is still gorgeous 20 years on.....hearing the musical purr of the V6 is very satisfying

love this car sucks that my friend just crashed his black 03 g and totaled it yesterday..

Wonderful car. I'm beyond upset that CARS like this, and choices among them no longer exist, especially in the affordable end of the spectrum.
This one was the best looking coupe back then
still is
Very beautiful this car
Great car.
All the Edgars like😍😍😍
Lmao, tube socks and straight pipes.
High point for Nissan

yes did you not watch the same video

Your right 18.9 is already full size sedan trunk size lol. This trunk is probably 13 cubic feet.
Still a beautiful car but nowadays most of these are clapped out hood drift missiles now. 🥲

good. they’re being driven like they should

I wonder why because the Z cars are pretty reliable cars
