The guy is running into rooms and THEN looking around, trying to"pie" doorways (from the center of the doorway, at that), checking out stuff that's entirely irrelevant (like watching the guys through the window, looking at pictures on the wall, etc).
Obviously it's a game. Lol. But when people see it, they're gonna say something about it...

Now imagine if the Co-Op was like this and you could stack up with friends. This mission, the Clean House mission, even the Embassy Mission could have a randomized enemy layout so it’s fresh each time you do it. You could get scored on your tactics; fewest bullets to drop a target, no friendly fire, no non-combatants killed, etc. That would have been a dope Co-Op with repeatability.

@@superweedenjoyer I’m the only one in my friend group with a gaming PC so that doesn’t work. COD reaches millions of people on console so the Co-op I described would have been a cool way to get more casual players into slower paced MilSim style game modes.
Insurgency Sandstorm brought some console players that direction but that game is garbage on console for no reason. The textures look like the inside of my ass even on PS5. It sucks. I’d love to get my friends on Ready or Not but they’re not PC players and likely never will be. They just love the simplicity and low effort of booting up a console and immediately playing.

The amount of blue on blue flashes and other tactical no no's took realistic out of it.

Call duty modern warfare 2019 one of the best cods ever made
yeah MW2 was a huge disappointment. Dark water was by far the best level and they showed that at e3 . everything else was ok at best

I'm tired of games treating the enemies like complete morons for the sake of cinematic experience. I prefer challenge. Make the player make tactical choices an actual soldier can make to outsmart a smart enemy. Besides, it takes away honor from soldiers who actually fought.
Hopefully Six Days does the enemy AI correctly. Correctly as in making them seem like hardened insurgents and not morons!

He just rams loudly through the door when it was previously silent in the dark right in front of you to shoot like fish in a barrel. Will increasing the difficulty turn off stupidity like that? Do real soldiers do that?
@@jamesfears83 why do we care what real soldiers do. At the end of the day it's just a game, plus in real life ones the shooting starts, stealth is gone.

The “weapons management” is realistic except the INSANE flagging.
The fiery tunnels and ladders and that last part with the vest....those parts take forever to finesse 🙆🏻♂️

Dude you NEVER raise your weapon when following someone up a staircase or through a hallway, they covered that in basic.

In basic you can't, but Tier 1 operators could after 2007 according to Rob O'Neill and DJ Shipley, who practiced it while they were at DevGru. There's been a couple of Delta guys before who said they had to start doing it when they got to Iraq also.... but that's only because they're Tier 1 operators, and they spend soooo much time on the range and in kill houses working together- learning one another's motions and body language and mastering their craft -that they can get away with it if it will help them sweep for enemies more efficiently. I've heard of British SAS doing it also.
They're the only ones who were allowed to paint their teammates though. They're all so goddamn skilled and experienced at their craft that they could trust their teammates to paint them without shooting them. If I had to guess, I would say that's probably no longer allowed. It sounds like it was just a short-lived response to the situation on the ground at the time, and not a full time policy change.

0:25 You're supposed to go in fast and get out of the fatal funnel. Make sure to also go left as the number one man in a corner fed room and take out targets in the uncleared sector.

If kids are learning firearms safety from this game then there’s gonna be a lot of real life fatalities in the coming years. For a game to go out of its way to be realistic it’s sure easy to tell they didn’t consult anyone who knows even the basics.

Really wished COD made more of these on the campaign & spec ops missions for MW2 and MW3.
What if there was a game that only comprises all modern declassified real special ops such as zero dark thirty, embassy siege in UK, operation in Entebe, black hawk down operation etc.

The intro on the heli was the most realistic. With perfectly sharp graphics and all the hud elements like crosshairs and the smooth animations, it looks less realistic.

Immersive yes, but you don’t shot enemy combatant and leave the distraught child alone and don’t secure the weapon. That’s an automatic fail, that could lead to a teammate dead or seriously wounded.

It would be interesting to see games accurately showing the toilet roll tube vision of real night vision. It changes things a lot.
I used to know someone (my friends husband) years ago that is an engineer and worked on the technology in the night sights used in the bin Laden raid. He showed me all kinds of crazy stuff. For one. It’s not the standard NVG’s we are all used to. The reason there are 4 optics feeding into two eye pieces is that it gives a panoramic view. Just like using a VR headset, you need both eyes open to see a full view. Also, they have IR heat vision, more sophisticated than FLIR overlaid on top of the standard IR “night vision”. So it makes it EXTREMELY clear. In fact one could argue that it’s easier to see a human through that than it is to just use your eyes in daylight. So basically, they didn’t have the challenge you’re describing. Superior tech that will probably be unavailable to the public for a long time.
the 4 tube NODs is called GPNVG-18, and it still has the "toilet roll tube vision" effect, just lessened. And the FLIR overlay is called COTI
Not everyone is a poor who can only afford old PVS-7s… LOL but true. If they wanted to make it true to life it would have that tube look for the lack of depth perception needed to run straight into the CP doorway on the OP you were just dropped off on.
The quads nvgs are a real life cheat code, the fov is incredible
