Atp cup title for Canada really pushed FAA. After that, he won first single title in Rotterdam which boosted his confidence in playing the final. And then at the end of the year he had 3 consecutive titles in indoor hard courts and finished the season inside top 8. That is just amazing. Just hope he can do better next year

Although I've been a tennis fan for quite some time, this year was the first time I was able to follow all the ATP matches in the calendar. Thanks for this video! I can't wait to see who will dominate or climb the ranks next year.
This year, every Championship point of Alcaraz should have been pointed out. Who would have thought in January this year a still 18 year old would have gone from No.31 to No.1?
Rublev bageling Djokovic by hitting a return winner in front of Djoko's home crowd in Serbia was one of the hardest match points this year.
So fucking hype
IMO tsitsipas-djokovic paris should have been in the top 5 matches of the indoor hard court season video. Also, Nishioka vs Shapovalov was very high quality - the tournament itself and the matches were very underrated.
I'd also add that Tsitsipas-Medvedev ATP Final was also a thriller.
I love the tournament in Seoul, I wish they can add it permanently to the calendar!
@@orchidpanda2253 It's still weird to think that if those matches went even slightly differently, Medvedev could've very easily been 3-0. Couldn't close it out though

Rafa brilliance @ the beginning and novak dominance @ the end. Alcaraz the break out ⭐ of the year showing his talent and prowess. FAA, Ruud,Rublev, Fritz along with tsitsipas ( even though he lost many finals) done pretty good. Can't wait to watch who will dominate the tour next year.

There are So many clay court tournaments that don’t lead up to the French. Clay court tournaments before Indian Wells and even AFTER Wimbledon. But the grass court season is basically 4 weeks tops. It will never make sense to me. But congrats to those winners!
definitely agree that there should be more grass, but it is because grass is hardest to maintain and most expensive (also weather issues can mess with grass)

The only bad thing was watching Felix aa, De Minaur, Nikkiryous winning tournaments.
I can't stand the WAY felix grunts (intentionally to distract others), De Minaur makes noises with his feet when the other player is serving and Nikkiryous is a rat and she should be playing whatever "sport" there is where spitting is what wins points. Congrats to the rest (I hope Pablo Busta, Zverev, Fokina, Shwarztsman, Tsitsipas, Berrettini, Tiafoe, Medvedev all win tournaments no matter the level but preferably 500 plus in 2023), and I hope my favorites have an amazing 2023.
