Nice one Sarah, I like the blocky-ness of it, sort of MacPherson-like. Color is vibrant too. Not much time for pre-mixes doing plein air, but some "planning" and timing could fix that. I dive in and paint like Debra Huse, for example, just make a mark, leave it alone, never touch it again, and keep doing that until done. Painting looks "loose" without really "planning" for it, it just happens. And never makes mud, blending does that. Yes, we all take too many brushes out, and sometimes use only one, makes the painting a lot fresher that way. Cheers from AZ!! :D
Thank you for bringing different artists. I love your show.
Great instructor! You do a wonderful job bringing a variety of artists.
Sarah Sedwick is one of my all-time favorite painters and instructors.
Love Sara!
Great instructor! Watching from Tucson.

Was her reference image a photo or a painting?
I was working from life during the demo, and the image on the screen in the lower right is a photograph of that still life. :)
