I recently started working with a lovely gentleman who has a lot of mental health issues. He is English and moved to Australia in his late 20s. We watch your videos over a coffee every Monday and he reminisces over his youth and all his years living in Plymouth and working in the royal dairies as a young man. Please keep your videos going they are loved here, because of you he had his first outing in many years....we went metal detecting on the Manning River....every bit went home with him 😂. #shared
Si....no WAY did you find the Massey Harris artifact!!!! I grew up in Brantford, Ontario, Canada where the Massey Ferguson factory was the biggest employer in the area in the Golden years. They closed in the late 80's, removed the lettering from the building, however you can still read "Massey Ferguson" to this day because of the weathering. Very cool find my friend!!!
Just as I was thinking it would be a lonely Sunday without Si, Nicola, and friends to hang with for awhile! Glad you shared a video to brighten our day!
I'm a nurse and your channel helped not only myself but my colleagues maintain our collective sanity through Covid and the cabin fever that came with long shifts and constant isolation. So thank you for sharing your adventures! #shared
I used to ride the trams in Germany. Walked to bus stop took bus to bahnhof train to Frankfurt Sud. Subway then street car then bus an walked to work all in 20 minutes. The transportation system is amazing.
Yeah I got nothing for the MH medal, but I have a joke: When is a tractor not a tractor? When it turns into a barn. Fun video, thanks for taking us along! 😻
Ah the bright light in my sunday morning! Good to see the two of you having such a great time with Mr. Mudbagger. The rising sun design piece is half an Art Deco enameled belt buckle.
The stylised Madonna and child figure that Nicola found was pretty cool wasn’t it. My favourite find was actually that very first red marble that picked up. Such a beautiful colour. Thanks for sharing this adventure Simon, much appreciated. 🙂🐿🌈❤️
I'm a avid watcher of your channel. I love the adventures, the history of your finds, and then the beautiful art that you make. Thanks for sharing and to Wendy too #shared
I love when you do mud larking with other. Kinda feed off each other. Love the history that you give us . I’m in Arizona . United States. So the scenery is just beautiful!
That’s a pretty little floral pendant. Like the teamwork button. Oh that’s a pretty little lock plate, so decorative. That is a pretty pink bead/pendant. That place is a treasure box. Such lovely finds. Lovely little chain, too bad it’s broken. Oh and Nicola’s find of the Mary and Jesus filial was great. Maybe from the staff of an Abbess? Great video as always, Si.
You and Nicola are the best! Such great energy together, her with her pipes, you with your upcycling. A lovely pair! I would love to come and hunt the foreshore with you someday! #shared (on Twitter)
Actually this is one of my favorites since you helped me identify one of my finds found here in London Ontario Canada... thanks to you and this video I have identified my scarf buckle that I thought for the last month since finding it was some type of brooch. Love the content Si, from across the Pond!
Was a treat to see this video uploaded today! Live seeing your mudventures. Looks like you had some real luck with some interesting finds. Look forward to the next! 😊
I can't believe the amount of finds ya'll found. I just love seeing the costume jewelery that has been hidden for at least a century. The coins are fascinating with so much detail especially on the much older coins. Thanks for bringing us along with you. #shared
What a wonderful location! Find after find... unbelievable! Thanks Ard for inviting Sci and Nicola to mudlark on your secret beach and thanks Sci for sharing! #shared
Can’t wait to see the fish that Nicola makes for you….I love the idea of using the glass with lettering on it ! Please be sure and post on a video ….happy Mudlarking always !
Great bling finds Si! Even some gold. I love the Massey medal. We always had Massey Ferguson tractors on our farm. It makes me laugh to think of the Massey Ferguson games! Fun times watching you larking with Nic and Aard! ❤😊
So many lovely little treasures! What a fantastic place! ❤️ Loving your throwback photo 😍 it made me go back and look at my first year at uni photos to see if I could see you in any of the photos… I couldn’t find you, although I did find a photo from Halloween with some random and because he’s wearing a mask I can squint and pretend it was you 😂 I was VERY blonde back then!
It’s become my Sunday tradition to watch your video & Nicola’s, with a cup of coffee on my patio. I look forward to it after a hard work week. Thanks for sharing your adventures & finds! Much love from Tennessee🩷 #shared
Art has a treasure trove of a beach to hunt on. He always finds some really nice things. That’s what I love about your, Arts’, and Nicolas’ channels and others of course is the age and history of every item. But the pottery and tiles that’s on Arts beach is really nice I would be taking tons home and using it in something but he has better control of himself he only takes whole items. Lol I love the rings and all your treasures I watched your video the #shared it to my Facebook page. Hopefully the wheel will be nice to me this round.❤️ lol
Great video. My husband and I always look forward to your videos. My 11 year old daughter watched this one with me and she was very interested in the things you found. What a treasure trove!
I've been watching your "love in the mud" vids for a few years now and enjoy your collaboration with Nicola White too. Love the history you discover behind so many interesting finds. Your enthusiasm is infectious. #shared
The first thing I thought of when I saw the tractor piece was that it was part of a key chain, but keys back then weren't the same as the keys we have today. Watch fob works great!
Si, I love all your video's.. I remember how excited you got when you found the complete Roman urn. The bust of Queen Victoria . I like it when you make things too.
Yes, always like to see You and Nicola and your friends on your explorations. Couldn't decide which video is a favorite. Love them all. So just forwarded this last one along to a friend. You did find a lot of things in this and the last video! A wonderful secret place for sure! Look forward to your next video. #SHARED
Part two stood up to all expectations, again the amount of jewellery coming up was amazing. As for the tractor medal, imagine several tractors lined up at a top of a hill, breaks off and see which one would get the furthest, #shared
I am fascinated by all of the bits and pieces that are found in the Thames that really truly bring history to life! Your videos are always great. #SHARED
The tractor history, they made the stump jumping valve switch. Which when ploughing and hit something underneath it lifted the ripper blade and then it dropped it to keep ploughing
I just love the video with you finding Queen Victoria (not the real one) and then you are interviewed for Antiques Roadshow. I have a feeling the bust was stolen years and years ago and the guy who took it couldn't sell it. So he buried it on the Shores of the Thames and it took all this time for it to be uncovered. Anyway #Shared --I shared that video of yours with my friends! :)
I love yours and Nicola’s mudlarking videos so much because you go that extra bit and track down the history. That’s my favorite part, truth be told. You’re both History Hunters for sure. ❤️
It's one-of-a-kind items and the numerous buttons that you find make me smile! That eye you found will make a gorgeous fish eye! I have to admit I love that you started showing the clean-ups right after you find things!!! Like you have told the stories of where things have come from as in the CA tractor watch fob. Your videos just keep getting better and better! 🥰 #shared
Fabulous video as always Si, you mud master! The tractor medal was given to the farmer with the most bruises on his bottom after riding that old bone shaker all day long 😂 Keep up the great work, I learn so much from you 😊😊😊 #shared
One of my Favs was when you found the Roman Pot >> MY BEST MUDLARKING FIND YET! 2,000 year old Roman pot!, I'm also thinking you have found another one But couldn't find that video again.. I love the Roman Finds the best.. Those are always amazing to me.. Thanks for another great video.. #Shared..
Loved the video, the tractor fob is brilliant.. I love all your films but I think my favourite still is when you found the virtually complete roman pot, simply because you were so excited.. #shared
Simon your 1st find is actually one half of a belt buckle and is the one that Aad found. The one that Aad found is attached to a fabric belt . The fabric would have sewn around the larger loop at both ends and the buckle would snap in the front of the dress or skirt.
As a young man working in the fields in Oklahoma USA I drove Massy Ferguson tractors, John Deere tractors, Alice Chalmer Tractors, David Brown tractors, Ford Tractors, and a few more of which I can't remember! I sure miss those days! What you're doing looks like a lot of fun!😊
Hiya Monika here from Australia, Brilliant video!!!!! Ive just finished watching yr video and now for Nicole's then Northern Mudlarkers. I love all the coloured glass and crockery. Happy mudlarking to you and looking forward to next adventure. Shared# this and many of yr videos. Cheers ✌💕😊

I love the Gems in the Thames episode best, since my aunt gave me a necklace a few years ago that has fish and a few of the garnets on it! I love it! I also love that you found the gems. It makes me feel like a bit of the Thames is with me! #shared
Great finds, Si. Love all the lovely pendants/ medals you found. Ithink the tractor medal was a fun treasure to find. Thanks for sharing your day out with Nicola and Art. What a bountiful, secret, mudlarking destination, maybe you can all meet up again. Have a great day!
Looks like so much fun, I love the Massey Harris Tractor, my dad was a farmer and he had a Messy Merger son tractor! I would have loved finding that piece
The Massey Harris tag could have once been a keyring for the tractors key? Most likely lost when the owner of the tractor tried to set the record of the longest tractor jump over the Thames 🤔🤣🚜 I do love the rings Wendy created with the gold you found, quite a talented lady #shared
Aard is right! Nicola is the Empress of the Thames and Si, the Master of the Mud!
Kind words 👍🏻🐾🧡
Candy you should send him some M&M's. For the Mud Master!
I think when you found the Queen Victoria item.
Shared Queen Victoria item#
I think the Massey Harris medal was probably won by the dog in the photo. The medal was probably given to the best tractor chasing dog.😊
