- Three British civilians were among the seven people killed in last night's attack on World Central Kitchen aid workers, the food aid charity has confirmed.
The three British nationals were killed along with Australian, Polish and Palestinian workers and a dual US-Canadian citizen.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted an "unintentional" Israeli strike killed "innocent people" in Gaza.
Netanyahu said in a video message, "It happens in war... and we will do everything so that this thing does not happen again."
According to data from the Aid Worker Security Database, the war in Gaza has led to at least 196 aid workers being killed before last night's attack.

This Gaza aid strike was no accident. It was a targeted attack undertaken by the IDF. As such, it is a war crime. In time Netanyahu, his senior ministers and senior members of the IDF must answer for this crime and others at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Empty words from the military spokesman
This was a deliberate attack. All 3 cars in the convoy were destroyed, two armoured cars clearly marked with the World Central Kitchen logo on their roofs and a soft skin vehicle. It wasn't a mistake.
Also, the cars were not in the same place after the attack ended, which means two cars of the convoy likely tried to escape the first attack but were hunted down and destroyed. This was a sustained attack. There were no survivors. Also, the cars left a warehouse minutes before the attack, after delivering 100 tons of food aid, a delivery coordinated with the IDF. The cars were attacked on a coastal road, outside the conflict zone, the road was supposed to be safe from attack. The IDF knew exactly where they were. There’s no way the IDF could be this inept.
One armoured car has a hole blown in its roof, unmistakably from a missile fired by a drone. Only because that car was clearly destroyed by a drone fired missile, I think Israel was forced to admit it they attacked the convoy. Otherwise, their army of bots would be covering up the attack. All food aid now suspended, a 200+ ton delivery by sea cancelled today (no one to meet the ship).
Also, this is not the first such attack. On Feb 5 the IDF attacked a UN food convoy on the same road, when travelling north. They were held up at an Israeli checkpoint for hours, i.e. the IDF knew where the convoy was and that it was carrying. It was attacked by the Israeli Navy who were just offshore, the damage was on the ocean side of the vehicles (Hamas does not have a navy, obviously). The UN suspended food deliveries.
"Israeli forces fired on a United Nations convoy carrying vital food supplies in central Gaza on February 5, before ultimately blocking the trucks from progressing to the northern part of the territory, where Palestinians are on the verge of famine, according to documents shared exclusively by the UN and CNN's own analysis."
I'm not sure if the attack was ordered from the top, by the Israeli Government, maybe it was ordered by hardline elements in the Israeli military who don't want NGOs / UN to "feed the enemy". Nerveless less, this attack was deliberate.
Also, President Biden ordered the US military to build a port on the Gaza coast, where aid can be delivered. He does not trust the Israelis to not attack UN / NGO aid attack.
Finally, this reminds me of the 2016 Urum al Kubra attack in Syria, where a UN food convoy destined for Aleppo was bombed by military aircraft. The Russian military followed the convoy to a Warehouse, footage was shot by a Russian drone was live-streamed on RUclips. I watched it live. Similarly, the attack carried out by hardline elements, the Syrian government, opposed to food reaching the enemy.
Clearly this was a crime, a war crime, purposely done to stop aid being distributed ... anyone who helps Palestinians becomes a target for Israel, even aid workers.
