Dang, my first foray into the world of Sherlock Holmes and I find out he's a druggie. Sheesh. But the narrator is fantastic so I'm torn whether I want to bother or not. I find it difficult to suspend disbelief and believe Holmes is as clever we're supposed to believe. Morphine dulls the senses, cocaine makes you think you're invincible. Both screw with your head.
