I'm 58, a drummer for 45 years. Starting over. Play because you love it, not exactly for success. Don't compare yourself to Thomas. He has, and does put alot of time into his skill. It really is true, you get back what you put in. Don't compare, just learn from him, or them. Comparison can be discouraging.
My hats off to this gentleman, living the dream doesn't come easy. The dedication and perseverance to reach that level of success ... not for everyone. Keeping it real too!
Aside from being an absolutely amazing drummer, I love the fact that he is so humble and opens up his home for us fans to get a glimpse of his life. His hospitality is 2nd to none. Oh and he has a Boston Terrier (my wife and I have two) which is totally awesome. Hope to meet you someday Mr. Lang. It would be awesome if you hit Halifax Nova Scotia sometime. 👊

Thomas said he would be a physicist if not a drummer probably would have been world class at that too definitely the coolest musician on a person level I've met at a clinic / concert with the exception of Elvin and Louis b super sweet old guys which makes them worthy of their legacy.

Am I the only to hear he said "Over there" and sounded like Arnold? - I know during his trip to China, he was in a gym a tried to push another guy to do more reps, and his Arnold's voice imitation was dead-on. I can't listen enough of him playing and talking
cat seems like u were a bit star struck by thomas....but hey he seems like a big personality so I imagine anyone would be...but really great video alot of people can comment on what u should or shouldnt do but u did great u pretty much made the entire video about thomas and thats rare but noble or he more or less took over the allotted time either way to see u at the end was nice and reminded us u were part of the video....maybe put urself in the question asking section after the intro so people can see u it would balance out the production....just saying Id like to have seen more of u because ur character against thomas wouldve made it more enjoyable in between content.....very selfless of u to give away the whole interview but this is ur show command the production after a short intro get in there girl.....I loved it❤

Hello back to you. Well, I liked the idea of leaving some space for the viewers' curiosity. If you listen closely to the answers, almost every question is very obvious. However, in my newer videos I added the questions as well.
Thomas should be a member of dream theater, he would have driven them to a superior level. They just didnt want to be better. Dream Theater think that playing the same songs again an again is what their funs want. Now they have reached new level with their new album, ''the astonishing'' and it sucks really really bad. If Thomas was there, it would have been so different.
