obviously its not a smart choice to have this much noise, given our capability. im stating outright that it was a conscious decision to have bad sound BASED ON the political impact that an interview like this can have.
Heres a little something-something you can take away from this.. you know how you can hear all the birds chirping AND all the background noise - as well as the wind?.. this means the gain on the mics were turned WAAAAAAY up.. think of gain as "sensitivity of the mic"..
The people they hire to work the audio team, are not amateurs. so yes. it was a conscious decision to have bad audio. why? political impact of what this guy is saying and represents..

First of all seems like most people agree he was pushed into this life from law enforcement and dirty career politicians. So law enforcement needs to do lots of explaining from destroying Wershe and his family's lives, then Wershe should also get a full pardon and a 32 year,7 months full retirement from FBI, Michigan law enforcement etc...the minimum.
I just quit voting way long time ago, cause I lost trust in both political parties.Specially for governors like we have in Michigan. But if Wershe runs to be our governor, or senator etc... in Michigan, do not care what party he is in, he would have my vote immediately.

I wish him nothing but the best. He has his head on straight and his intentions are solid. He endured so much as did his family. I hope he can shine a light on mass incarceration, and prison reform as he spoke of. I too have been to prison for years and know exactly what he's referring to. He will have a platform and I believe he will put it to good cause.

What a strong man....just watched the film...unbelievable! It was disgusting how he was treated! He should sue the state ( or someone🤔). He is soo right in everything he is saying! There are innocent people in jail right now. The laws he’s talking about are spot on! So brilliant how he is out there telling his story and now helping a cause. ( reform) Good people are getting wrong sentences and bad people are getting off lightly. It’s so wrong.
Good for him writing his book and doing a documentary. I hope he makes loads of money from it too. He deserves a good life after what he’s had to do!. Wish I could help somehow?🤔🇬🇧✌️🙏🏻

The place for the interview was chosen very unprofessionally, the sound quality is terrible, as well as the quality of the video, a big minus for the journalist, the feeling that it was filmed with a phone from 2000. how could you not appreciate these moments? and so negligently treat the quality of sound and video? Rick is great, I wish him good luck, what happened is the mistake of his youth, without the right to correction, his whole life was literally taken away from him. this is insanely unfair.

From the amount of things you can hear in the background, the gain on the mic's were turned WAAAAAY up, The people they hire to manage the audio for these interviews are not amateurs. This "cranked gain" decision was nothing short of deliberate.
