Great stuff would be a single patch or only 2 patches in 1 split. Because it makes people adapt to the patch and find new stuff, but patches every 2 weeks will force teams to play only meta champs and there is no time to figure out the counters and strategies. I don't belive that another quarter exit against struggling GenG is success. And don't worry a bit later LoL will be like fighting, with a shit ton of betting sponsors and not any other.
Imagine MLB owned basebl and the only way to play baseball was through the means that MLB authorized and developmental leagues couldn't exist without approval and you could be banned from all baseball, including just playing with some buddies, at the whim of MLB. That's esports. It's never going to be sports as long as there's central ownership.
