I don't know what's hard to understand about what Saudi is trying to do, we don't care what you do as long as you don't do it in public or promote it to the public. We follow our religion, our religion doesn't allow US to be part of what you call LGBT+ you on the other hand can do whatever you want as long as you respect the country. Aside from the LGBT+ thing woman right have improved a lot, the stuff about traveling, owning business and yes driving it all changed and is changing.
What I hope comes across from this comment is that some things have been changing like woman rights but others will never change like the LGBT+ ideology western countries are pushing all over the world.

Now about the hypothetical question, Saudi is a Muslim country the land itself has been under Muslim rule for 1400 years, there is zero chance we would have a Christian or a Jewish ruler. You can ask what if our current regime was replaced with a Jewish or Christian one and we would have a civil war to restore it.
