I'm a level 100 who has been playing crim for over 2 years my advice for new players is to distance themselves as far away as possible from the community

the criminality community goes even deeper than this, theres actual CRIMINALS playing this game and interracting with children in the community of this game. in discord servers, gangs anywhere revolving crim. i myself got groomed by a individual who was a really invested member in the community. Hope you're ok. With games that treat themselves as seriously as crim does, these issues should be too. The game and its players may be edgy and all that, but this is something that needs to be talked out regarding "edgy" communities

criminality is genuinely one of the most toxic games i have ever played. i got into it about two years ago because some friends of mine really enjoyed playing it, so i bought the game and started playing a little. around then it was fine as far as i remember, but as of right now, its awful.
i only just recently reached level thirty (since i didn't play often back then like i do now) and my god, i think i can say i'm experienced with the players.
one of my old friends who got me into it actually worked on aethelbeorn, and was BANNED from criminality by RVVZ HIMSELF just because he was involved with it. RVVZ is honestly an awful game owner, along with the majority of his admins. they abuse their power im-game just for the fun of it.
if i ever went into a server and saw RVVZ on the list i would IMMEDIATELY leave. its not an honor to meet him in my eyes, i'm honestly worried.
going back to the players, they're just awful. even in small 4-8 player servers, you'll end up finding a level 101 in the server with an upgraded AK, mare, scout, anything. and if you kill them? they'll curse you out, call you slurs, and target out the rest of the time you're in the server. also, you know all those stereotypes about high-level crim players? you know, the furries, femboys, weird grey-skin avatars, and the "gangsters"? they're ALL real. oh, and god forbid you have friends you're teaming with, because they'll just get even more mad at you. personally i REFUSE to play the game without at least one person with me. not because im "bad" (like the toxic players say) but because i'd rather have some assistance when i'm going against a level 101 with an upgraded scar or AK. oh, and if you're dressed like a 'woman', you'll either be targeted, or all the weird guys will come up to you and "protect" you. it's really fucking weird. i'm a guy, but i have a lot of female avatars for cosplays and stuff from games/animes i enjoy. i have had MULTIPLE experiences of weird crim players coming up to me and trying to stick to my hip because i need to be "protected".

You should have talked about the moderators in the game. I have been banned two times for “hacking”. It’s so annoying because if you just look up criminality false bans you will find so many videos about people just paying good. From what I seen to get unbanned you need to record yourself 24/7 to show that you don’t cheat. I hate how I spent 19 dollars on this game just to get banned by some guy who thinks anyone who headshots is cheating.
it's worse than that i play criminality very normally i don't know the mod team of the game and i accidentally killed one of them then they target me even then let their friends use the exploit carelessly hack in the game
When they banned me, I went to their discord to remove the ban and you know what, they started calling me with Asian derogatory words because my avatar is a Rice Farmer even they kept using jokes because 2 atomic bombs fell on Japan because I live in Japan

This game is the definition of competetive. By nature, if you make a game with a gritty, dark and realistic tone - people will act accordingly. I played it before, personally I want my 250 Robux back, because what I signed up for was a dick-measuring contest, not a game.
I still struggle to understand why modern surface-level gamers are so obsessed with experiences like these. As far back as CS:GO's very first release.
Where's the fun? What do you accomplish by participating in what is essentially just a collection of tools (some of which cost money) that let you suck away fun from other players in order to have any fun whatsoever yourself? At its best you only actually get to enjoy the "game" (that was never made with any intention to be fun in the first place) when everything works out perfectly, which is far from always, not even half the time.
The funniest part is PvP-only elitists thinking their opinion on games or game design matters and genuinely believing that you can't make a good PvE game (or add PvE options to your PvP-only shitfest after it becomes too niche for any new players to get into it) because "every encounter would feel the exact same" (while the same exact thing can be said about the millionth dogshit dark gorey open-world PvP sim)
These sorts of games live and die by their community more so than the (often absolutely moronic and greedy) developers' decisions. And when you make no attempt to mitigate toxic behavior or ganking, new people stop coming in. Nobody cares about Tarkov anymore for instance, because there's no more fun to be HAD with it if you want to get into it in current-day (Among other issues but you get the point).
None of this is even getting into what the lead dev of crim has been seen doing... from the numerous attempts at plagiarism (like stealing skin textures and slightly editing them to shove into a greedy case system, down having identical skin names, then passive-aggressively calling it ""inspiration"" and blocking people when he gets called out) and incredibly lazy "additions" to the game, to the outright lies in the patchnotes and to his community, to his disgusting egotistical behavior.
You're right. These "games" are not games. They're cesspools of degenerates that give pleasure to the worst kinds of people you can try to play games with.

Roblox devs are the indie versions of AAA studios, they act just as serious yet they're all like 17. Not surprising tbh

Criminality may be fairly toxic but if you’ve played mm2 long enough you’d know how rapidly the community is evolving into a full-on dumpster fire- this year so far, after returning from a 3 year break, I dont think i’ve ever been in a mm2 server without incredibly problematic or toxic people.

I'd say the criminality community isn't the most toxic. It's heydays are far over now since each update has pushed players off the game. I honestly would say that the ABA community is more toxic and very noticeable in ranked matches.

In my opinion the worst communites ever were in the old "Anarchy" battle royale games. Even after the game split into two versions, one with original devs and one with canonical devs; the current "Anarchy" games that attempt to recapture the feel and aesthetics of the originals have to have clearly stated rules in game that ask people to not scam people, cheat, dox people, hack into accounts or bypass NSFW material into the game. The community was so filled to the brim with degeneracy that I personally say its the worst a roblox game's community will ever get.
Hey, my name is Blake. I am a very well-known user in a community that I believe is way, WAY more toxic than this one. The community is called JToH's Joke Towers (JJT), and it's basically a sub-community of a more popular game, Juke's Towers of Hell (JToH). It's an obby game where you climb towers with 100x100 stud floors (10 floors). JJT revolves around fanmade JToH content. I recommend you research JToH and even beat a few towers to get the point of the game, and then do a quick search on JJT to check out the wiki, which is basically the entire community.
Is there any way we could get in contact to talk about the community? I'm an admin of the wiki and I know a few other admins who would be more than happy to talk (no voice chat or anything though).

I can tell what happened those years detail by detail.
Criminality in my opinion is a great experience for people over 13 who can jokingly talk shit non seriously and not stress over Roblox beef.

I played from 1.0 to now, the community has devolved so far from what it used to be.
The reason why the community is so toxic is because big players like slavic dogs, GOMB, gloops and the people who associated with NRF and some other clans started to break down and collapse. leaving a vaccume for newgens (which inhabit most of crim now, which is why the community is so shit now). Newgens are more egotistical then the oldgens could ever be. Staff and mods don't work in the interest of the community or game. only in the profit.
It's interesting that you included dillyboyo without understanding his backstory in the backdrop of all this. He was friends with the majority of oldgen and now newgen crim gangs and players, if you saw a recognizable face or recognizable crim player dilly was his or her friend. There is a reason for this, it's because he has connections and would actively manipulate the downfall, rise and set in stone changes in the community which were usually for his own gain.
Dilly would subtly start to destroy the gangs from the inside by influencing mid-high ranking players in them from 1.1 to 1.2 winter update. the summer of 1.2 and 1.3 is when the mass die off of organizations and groups started to happen, slavic dogs disentegrated with SIRENT taking it's place, NRF destroyed itself through a coup and got replaced by 141 which is now replaced by a PMC. and you have GOMB which split off into frogtovia, new gomb and gkill.
I can't explain everything here, there needs to be an archive of crim history because it's intriguing. I might do it myself.

2. I said abc to rp with someone, and came to their plot but they said that my avatar was not suitable for the 'youtube video'? and they never even said it was a youtube video or which avatar was 'suitable' (Happened yesterday)
3. it actually happened just now, and i said 'Abc for mom!' and it took a long while, and then suddenly someone else also said 'Abc for mom!' and IMMEDIATELY after someone said 'Abc!' which just left me a bit pissed

4:30 crim players were notorious for hunting down creators and streamers. I streamed the game before myself on RUclips. Was a small view count but I still had people watch hunting me down for just streaming the game.
As someone that has been playing this game for a while, i can say that its beyond saving by a lot.

I’d say that criminality is extremely toxic, but not as toxic as you might think. Now, in standard it is just complete MAYHEM, you get murdered by everyone, no one has mercy. But in casual? Tons of tryhards, but a surprisingly large amount of peaceful people too.

I genuinely hate the crim community and have been apart of it for a while. Dilly, pies (to a certain degree), gone_fishinq. Dilly is a complete scumbag and absolutely deserved what came to him imo. Pies is extremely unreliable saying he is leaving the community, coming back just days later, talking about how toxic the community is then doing exactly what he complains about, etc. And gone_fishinq (though not talked about in this vid, is connected to dilly), i was a pretty large person in his discord for a few months having the second highest rank you can obtain by talking in the server. His community is from what i can remember, full of degenerates, racists and generally very weird people, it sucks no one has really done some sort of deep dive into him and his community as he and his fans are generally very strange (though he may be different now).
Ngl, there's no chance that melee players can win against gun players, like seriously, gun players can just jump while the melee player hits, it's so unfair.

There's a Roblox church game that keeps around 100 players, that game is the worst one on Roblox. Just ask anyone with a ton of hours about what goes on there and you'll be shocked.
I try the game and then i abandoned it for the toxicity :(
You should play the game for atleast a month to talk anything about it lol this is just first impressions but i gotta agree to you that this game have a very sad community but if you actually try to see the good people you will realize that there is still the good people here (they're like 40% of the community but they still exist)
Also if u like your sanity and ever tries this thing again *DO NOT* play standart
