Kansas Food Bank & Cargill Turkey Press Conference 2024

This year marks the 18th year we have been honored to receive turkeys from our partners at Cargill! This year, and joined by many of our local partner agencies who will help distribute the donated turkeys, Cargill presented the Kansas Food Bank with 40,000 pounds of Honeysuckle White turkey this holiday season to help put meals on the tables of food insecure Kansans.
In addition to the turkey donation, the Cargill CARES committee announced a $150,000 gift to help purchase protein items and support our partners through grant opportunities. Cargill also announced this year's $100,000 Holiday Match opportunity for our Food 4 Kids program, pledging to match all gifts made through the end of the year for our Food 4 Kids program up to $100,000.
We absolutely could not do what we do without our wonderful partners at Cargill, and we are so thankful for yet another year of incredible generosity and commitment to serving our neighbors alongside us.
