@@armina1708 he is from North Iran, I think which is South Azerbaijan, so technically, he is Azerbaijani, also no one is forced to be in competition lol
@@imamkarim1117 Technically he said that his grandmother was Azeri, so he’s only like 1/8 Azeri, and almost all of his songs are in Persian. (Don’t take this as some sort of attack on Azeris, I’m technically 3/4 Azeri 😅)
Anderz Wrethov, one of the Swedish songwriters of this song, also co-wrote "Fuego" (Cyprus 2018) and "To Late For Love" (Sweden 2019). He has co-written 17 entries to Melodifestivalen. Almost every year Azerbaijan has had Swedish songwriters.
Just realised apart from 3 songs ,the remaining are part of my long Eurovision playlist which I love and play very often. (This is one of those on my spotify playlist probably my favourite from Azerbaijan
Interesting thing is the instrument that Arash pretend like he is playing is called “Tar”. Also internationally some string instruments ends with “tar” such as guitar, sitar, zither, santoor. Yet this one is just called “Tar”. It appears that it is very ancient instrument. I would be so happy if any of you tell me how old is this instrument. Thank you
I think in the next round they should react to some interval acts. Like for example the first one should be the opening act of the second semifinal of 2016 What is Eurovision?
Excellent idea. "What is Eurovision" is great, introducing new viewers, especially Americans, to Eurovision, and Love Love Peace Peace is great when you´ve watched a lot of Eurovision, since there is so much to recognize.
Shame this only ended up 3rd because it’s absolutely awesome Though yes, “Is it true” was just as awesome, and “Fairytale”… well that is contender for the best eurovision song ever

This is still one of my favourite Eurovision songs ever :)
Thanks for reaction. 2:29 is a historical musical instrument "TAR". With love from Azerbaijan..
Still the best Azerbaijani entry!
Agreed
Them and Farid

I think Eurovision 2009 should be reacted. That year has so many beautiful entries. For example Fairytale,Dum Tek Tek, Always,Be my Valentine etc.

Azerbaijan got top 5s results until the discovering of cheating in 2013, 2019 was the likely the first fair top 10 result for Azerbaijan 😂
Oh come on. I read just one information about 2013
how was Azerbaijan cheating Eurovision?
@@mda990 buying votes from other countries. but this deserved it's top 5
Bullshit. All countries buy the votes.
