Just picked up the blue version of this one at Burlington where I live.. definitely something to get used to. I feel it's more for the cooler weather. I enjoy the dry down compared to the first spray.
It's very sweet, musky and animalic, I wasn't a fan unfortunately

My Burlington has also been killing it lately with these hidden gems. Probably the last 6-8 frags I’ve picked up have all been from Burlington. I just snagged Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan earlier this week and it’s definitely a winner, especially for the $20 I paid. They also had Blue Oud from Lattafa which I passed on. Will be on the lookout for Opulent Oud now, as I do enjoy Oud Mosaic from Banana Republic. Cheers to another great video Gerard!

My Burlington has sucked lately. They had a big push right before Father’s Day and now the shelves are completely bare almost. all they have is Hollister wave and Nautica voyage

Picked up the blue version, also seen the red but didn’t grab it. Blue is very sweet oud. It’s nice and more suited for fall.

I've been waiting for those Tommy Bahama Maritime flankers to pop up at the rack stores. I just went to Burlington and Ross and mine didn't have any of the ones yours had. Did see Blue Oud though decided to pass on it. Oud has never been for me.
I am hoping to find that blue oud eventually.

I have the Blue Oud. It smells expensive. Despite the name blue, I think it's more of a colder weather scent than summer. It's not my cup of tea, but I can't wait to try it when the weather gets cooler. BTW I love the box for this. lol It has the suede leather feel to it.

The best budget oud and rose fragrance In my opinion is armaf shades wood it smells expensive and is a beast but might not be for everyone

Fragrantica compares it heavily with Rochas Man? I had this in my hams today actually, but put it back. My Burlington went from fully stocked to empty the passed couple of weeks.
I haven’t smelled Rochas Man. Maybe your store was stocked for Fathers Day?
Try layering it with a sweeter fragrance like Oud Satin by Ministry of Oud(mfk dupe). Wonder if this inspired by Armani prive oud royal?!?

I have this one and it's pretty potent, at least my batch. This one is similar to Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian. I do get the similarities, but to me Opulent Oud is more oud based, while Shaghaf Oud is more vanilla based and sweeter. Shaghaf Oud tho is more potent and longer lasting. Shaghaf Oud is supposed to be a clone of Oud Bouquet by Lancome, while Opulent Oud is supposed to be a clone of Oud Royal by Armani.

Wow, you had both Bahama Maritime Voyage and Triumph in the same store. I have seen neither of those in any rack stores. The Triumph was only a limited release a couple years back, Voyage was their last release in 2023. Voyage is worth the $25, the opening is amazing. The problem is the performance on that one is awful, although some people say it's good. Not for me. I could bath in it and it's gone in 30 minutes. Never tried Triumph.

Opulent musk in the white bottle is a bit better and doesnt have that medicinal part and a better blend and smell.

For Burlington and the average enthusiast it absolutely is. 9/10 people have no idea about this fragrance. Especially those who watch the rack videos.
