I got 4 md mount lenses 3 pk mount lenses, 3 EF and 1 FD. But I got 10 m42 lenses and now I want to get to know them through youtube first. I'm glad I got this one at least (o according to the list I got 2 of them). the Tamron 90mm still seems to be the rarest one I got though.
The Pentacon 50mm 1.8 Zebra lens is a art lens.. I have this on my mirrorless setup and I'm impressed how well it does with black and white. But the Bokeh on this is underrated for sure.
I think, its a great lens. There where made in those days millons of them.The Pentacon 1.8 50mm is based on the Meyer-Optik Görlitz 50mm 1.8 Oreston and it was the prime lens on the Praktica and Pentacon cameras at the manufactor at Dresden former GDR or East Germany. You can buy them very cheap on internet less then 20 euro.
What an excellent review. After watching this, I picked up the 50mm f1.8 AND 28mm f2.8 for less than £30 GBP! Fabulous lenses, and I really like your presentation style.

Keep an eye out for the pentacon 135mm f2.8 lenses also. They even have a built in retractable lens hood.
I believe I have three pentacon 50 mm lenses and they are good but so are other lenses in the same pricerange. They work pretty good with a BMCC shooting video too

Great objective informed review. When you bought a camera years ago you got a good lens stuck on the front, not like now, and the option for others, " would you like the 1.4 instead of the 1.8 sir for £2 extra?"
