My mind tells me "You shouldn't get another laser" but my heart says "YOU NEED ANOTHER ONE" 😂 Man that's a sweet red laser, and the green one being 1.3w+ is insane. I just need a 1w red and a 1w violet to complete the color colection :)
I can't wait for a 3W 465nm blue, that will totally destroy darkness, and for 1W red recommended that you get it first than the purple one, every day closer to meeting our goals. also you know a good 532nm dpss model? after the death of model 890 crystal I only think about switching to 520nm ones until I remember some Zeus Lasers models especially the 200mW one, I was searching on Q-Line models but I didn't find anything that convinced me.
@@nx7173 Man any laser from 3,000+mw's are straight up monsters... You'll be terrified when jumping from lower mw's to a 3w+. And the 465nm must look amazing, I have a 445nm, 450nm, and 455nm. The best in my opinion is the 455nm which is a 4,300mw diode from Dtr's laser shop, but mines does 3.5w at lower regulated driver and I think it looks amazing, I bet yours will look even better at 465nm which is sky blue or close. Yeah, and I haven't either found a great 532nm dpss, but you should try the new 525nms, it's a richer green than the 520nm. The 532nm looks like a forest green, the 525nm looks bright green, and the 520nm looks more mint.
@@nx7173 Sorry for the late reply. I didn't realize YouTub censored my other comment. Anything from 3 watts and beyond are monsters. Your 465nm will look better than all my blues, I can guarantee. I have a 455nm 4.3w diode and it is my best looking one, but the 465nm will look better. And no, the 532nm dpss suck, you should try the 525nm, it looks better than the 520nm, but less greener than the 532. The 520nm look kind of mint, and the 525nm is somwhere in the middle.

Amazing video! I just ordered a 638nm from Tinker Tavern, with the 3x beam expander. I'm hoping the beam expander protects the lens while using it in foggy conditions. Your video makes me very impatient to receive my order!
the beam expander protects lens good and with a microfiber cloth you remove dust and drops easily, also Tinker is a expensive laser brand like Sanwu but also with good reviews, I plan to buy a yellow laser there on a future.
@@nx7173 Tinker does love their yellow lasers, I have an Amber 593.5nm pen from them, it's a nice golden orange, but it has some artifacts in the beam. I bought the "561nm" pen, and the wavelength is way lower than 561, mine is ~553, but the beam is PERFECT. Mode TEM00 without artifacts or scattered light, and super narrow with incredibly low divergence. I'm going to wait a few years for the 57Xnm lasers to get cheaper and brighter.
In the past Dragon Lasers produced Laserpointers. The big Spartan Series, and the small Viper Series. The green ones where Dpss with 532mw. High Quality. In a short Period they produced 532nm high- power Dpss Lasers up to 600mW (Spartan Series). But Unfortunathely they dont producing pointers anymore. I ve a 447nm Spartan 1,1W since 10years or longer. Still working like on the first day. Great company.
thanks, diode is easy but functional pointer with the components and host it took me a while to find it. I had planned to get the 638T-1200 model but I wanted something that uses 2x 18650s and try one of Sanwu brand for the first time. Today it works fine but I noticed now that I'm in summer that with 20°C instead of 911mW I get 875, same with my other multimode 638nm instead of 520 I get 484. It seems that their performance decreases a little with heat, in winter when I record the 40min video of Pocket LPM I tested them at 12°C when I got the highest values. You who also have a lot of knowledge on this topic, please confirm to me if your 638nm Class 4 multimodes suffer from this with heat, I tried with all my others pointers and everything is normal.
@ with my multimode diodes don’t decrease in power when It’s hot sanwu lasers have a special driver with temperature control if the laser is too hot less power from battery is drawn into the driver if not full power
@@Fjlasers the driver of Sanwus is amazing, my 18650s lasts an eternity, but can't explain why my other 638nm that are from other brand (q-line) has the same behavior getting 4-6% less of power with 19-23°C indoor temperature. It only remains to conclude that the diodes works better on cold or the driver also has a good role something that makes a lot of sense since all the others I bought from that brand have a good performance.

old is good, a phrase that is becoming stronger every day because companies today prefer quantity over quality, they only want to sell and get more $
Yes, but Sanwu is a good company too. I have purchased a 635nm 200mw pocket with low divergence. I am very satisfied with it.
