Sven, this is exactly what I needed for my Tavor 7. Installed mine this morning and absolutely love the look and quality. Thank you for your innovation! Please keep the good stuff coming!!!
Purchased the whole set. Only thing I suggest, is switch the brass 8/32 socket screws to black oxide coated steel to match the gun. I bought separately and its the small details sometimes 😉
Best light set up for gun as it comes is mount a pic rail on the side then put an owl on it. Really comfortable and natural with regular grip. Not sure why nobody has tried it but it works really well. I'm not saying it is better than this just best option for gun without changing parts. This is really nice looking and looks better than my suggestion and will probably be checking these out. Really like how slim it remains.
Manticore Arms when will the switchback charging handle that is on your firearm in this install video be available? I've just installed this and love it but I noticed your charging handle in the video and I've got to have one. Thanks.
This is very nice, and check out the butt stock pad. A must have with this little bull🐂. But if you are adding or have a CAN. The light may interfere with your suppressor🤔. So... you may have to pick one over the other😞
That Fenix is a good light w/1700 lumens. My SureFire has only 1k lumens and was expensive. The forend looks amazing! Better than stock for sure. If you’re going to suppress this rifle, you may have a clearance issue for the light with this barrel length. 👍
I love manticore arms and this seems like a great product. I would really like to see a thinner forend for my tavor 7 that does not house a flashlight. Is there any plans of that?
Your a life saver. Also can I use a different flash light for that forend. Also that charging handle looks great. I need one as well. For a side note. I'd love to see a super slim extended handguard if that's even possible, I find the handguard quite large. But the one you've designed does look very handy and sexy.
Most any 1" diameter flashlight should in theory work. We do stock the Fenix lights to make it easy to get a light that is known to work. Molds are REALLY expensive, so I don't think we will be doing any sort of other Tavor 7 forend anytime soon!
The flashlight I was given is different than the one in the video, and does not fit well. When tightened, it angles downward and not straight. It also has an extra button near the emitter that won't fit into the fore-end and sticks out farther. Much worse than the version shown here :( Any ideas?
what is that charging handle and would you recommend the one you have on or the tavor ts12 and also if i get the hammerhead can i keep the top rail that came with the tavor or do i need to get the overwatch?
I know this is an old video so I dont know what the chances are for an answer (I'll send an email as well on your site), but how much clearance does this leave for a suppressor once you install the light?
I wish I would have seen that that charging handle was not ready for the tavor 7 I purchased this old setup last week would you return the charging handle for the new model when it comes out?
Any reason for the handguard to be sagging down just a little? At the end if you hold the gun straight it has a slight downward bend that makes it look very bad. Would the cross bolt be an option to tighten it back straight or..?
Man, where do I get that folding charging handle for the Tavor 7? I have one for the X95 but I've been looking all over for it after I saw this video and can't find it anywhere.
Hi Sven, great review, love your products man. Good quality stuff. Question, with the Hamerhead installed can I still run my suppressor on it? Or would I have to remove the flashlight?
I’ve not tried a suppressor yet on mine, but the light and the barrel are really close. I would highly doubt the added diameter would work unless you have a super thin suppressor. Even a larger muzzle device wouldn’t likely work. I believe (but haven’t tried) you could just remove the flashlight head to put the suppressor on, but that defeats the purpose of adding a light! If you find a better option, I love to hear it!
Can this be done without removing the rail? I know you said it is easier without the rail, but is it possible with rail still atta ched? I'd rather not lose the zero on my scope, but not a huge deal if I gotta move it. Looking forward to trying this forend out, ordered today!
Looking further into the matter, another option is the Nitecore P20ix which has a micro USB charging port (with protective rubber cover) on the head of the flashlight, so recharging the battery will require zero tools. Pressure switch options are available for it too.
@@ManticoreArms I really wish there was still a channel to order some of the SAR parts you were producing as well... how much demand would you need to see in the market? Maybe a limited run...
why no just use a crossbolt with a detent or QD ring? makes more sense to me surely someone already made it! thats thread in thread design is stupid imo.
Mine went in easy peasy. Used my straight pick in there to first hold it aligned while I tightened the rail snug then pulled it out and with just a little wiggle on the cross bolt and a little assist from the straight pick it slid right in. Tried without the pick and it was a PITA.
Due to the inherent design of the Tavor 7 and forend system an aluminum forend is not practical in any sort of reasonable price point that the market would accept, sorry.
Thank you so much for coming out with this. The Tavor 7 was already my dream gun, now my dream is better!
Woohoo! Glad we could help. :)

Fenix light? I have a surefire will that work?
Great idea, I’m pretty OCD with my guns so I will probably be doing the same. Thank you
No, you need to that contrast to see them if they start to rattle free during use.

I'm eyeballing the switchback charging handle :D cant wait for that

Something like this for the TS12 would be next level sci-fi awesomeness.
Is there anyway to attach a foregrip to it?
The switch back charging handle on the rifle is not listed as being compatible On the tavor 7. I assume it functions since it is installed?
This and the rail are a must for me. Hope I can figure out a way to get them up here in Canada.
Aztech Armoury can import and several retailers are starting to carry manticore accessories. Just ordered mine through Hical out of BC
As this was made August 21, any update on the Tavor 7 Switchback charging handle? Thanks!

I'm very disappointed that there isn't enough spacing between the the flashlight mount and the barrel for a suppressor...
Lol the only thing else that rifle needs is a kac keymaster. Because the only good bug is a dead bug... Would you like to know more?

No, no. It is nice that you kept the struggle points in there.
Wow... looks like a Phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range. 😅
What is the weight difference between this and the original/factory forend?

Way better than the Alien Marines pulse rifle from the movies...😁

Looks cool but you can’t add suppression
Where can I get that charging handle?
Not available yet- we are working on it right now :)
Do you know if the Hammerhead Forend leaves enough room to mount a Huxwrks suppressor?
Manticore Arms should also make this for the Tavor X95.
How does the light not get destroyed by the concussive shockwave of the rifle firing?
What's that charging handle?
A future release that we are working on ;)

Will the light being that close allow for a suppressor, doesn't look like a lot of clearance between it and the muzzle device?
Doesn't look like it will

any plans to import these into canada?

Can the battery of the flashlight be replaced from unscrewing the front part (assuming it's removable)?

What’s the torque specifications on the two top bolts?
The Tav or 7 manual does not list a torque value, just make sure they are "snug"

I wish it was more slimmer hand guard i dont mind if i dont have a flashlight built in on it
The Hammerhead forend is not any wider than the OEM forend. If you don't want a light it sounds like the OEM forend is just fine for your needs.
I would like it more if this was made from aluminum rather than polymer.
