Definitely a very nice first watch from this new brand they have made a great diver there, really like the bracelet on this one.
Hi buddy and congrats on 2k subs. This is a good watch but the Sports watch I reviewed a couple of weeks back is a REALLY good watch :)
I just want to say thank you for doing wrist shots and some videography of the watch outside on the wrist. Im used to apple watch reviews doing this but was surprised that there arent many traditional watch reviews with the same photo and video set ups.

An honest review of a good Watch, I found the crown to be grippy personaly and a good size for a diver.
Could do with an extra micro adjust as a bit snug.
Love the outside shots they were superb.
Hi Jon. As always I try to give my objective opinion. Comparing the Master with this I was pretty surprised. Get the impression that a lot of thought went into the Master and that more is needed on the Diver. But it is still a good watch no question . Thanks for offering me the opportunity to give an honest review :)

Very nice watch and great review. Specs tick all the right boxes. The only thing is, you almost never see any watch with a see through case back that has more than 100m water resistance. Not really a big deal since 99.9% of us will never take it in more than a pool while on holiday. Looks good, workhorse movement, available in enough colors to suit anyone's wants, for the money how could you go wrong. Thank you for another great review, keep up the good work.

I love the orange one, very bold. Have top quality diver watches always been this cheap or is it a new phenomenon? Got a depth charge a year ago and still using it, great watch.

Nice to see you can get something with good specs from the UK at a very reasonable price, rather than waiting for the Ali Express postage... Great review again John 👏 your citizen is top banana, also good choice of bracelet too.
Thanks. I will be giving out the details of that bracelet shortly. It fitted to the Proxima px1695 beautifully (Seiko Superior homage) and it is pretty cheap for the quality.

However after reading some of the reviews on Amazon, some reviewers had issues with QC and even some with having Watches turn up that weren't working.
Hi and thanks for the heads up. Whilst I can only show you what I receive it is always good to hear further info, however as a reviewer on Amazon you would be surprised by how many people do not know that they are buying an automatic watch! The Citizen Promaster NY0040 was the same for a while until someone twigged!

Neither are perfect but they're both great for the money. These head to heads are always very subjective but great fun especially in the comments section being told how wrong I am haha 😄

Nice watch for pocket change funds! We'll pick mine up next time we are home in Chester, where Mrs F was born. Actually, this watch 'comes' from near Chester, not actually within the walls, where SHE was born, but she's tickled by the thought of having a watch from her hometown. Sadly, they don't seem to make a watch suitable for a lady, but we'll wait.

I''m watching your video and looking at my Kamasu and panicking about my end-links not matching the length of the lugs AT ALL. And don't get me started on the direction of the brushing... And the rattling of the bracelet! I still love it, though.
It's only fair of you as a yourube reviewer, to point out the cons. but you are really nitpicking.
I don't dare to imagine what you would say about an old Seiko 5, an Orien tri-star (I love those, I got 2 of them, one 19 years old) or an Invicta!
Haha. It's my job when comparing. I have to be consistent and list the possible pros and cons. If I didn't ,I wouldn't be doing my job :)
I Received the white diver today and cant believe the quality of this watch at this price.
It does represent great value.

Specs are spot on for the money.
Good review again John. If you zoom in to my picture of the Tiger version, you'll see a hairline crack in the ceramic bezel at the 1 o' clock position. I hadn't originally noticed this. I contacted WatchNation through Facebook and had a replacement within a few days. The replacement bezel didn't line up quite, but with one finger on either side, I could actually slide the insert to align it. This makes me wonder if the crack was due to uneven adhesive. Other than that still very happy with it, other than the tacky resin finish on the crown. A recessed engraved logo would be classier. The fit of mine round the bracelet seems better than this one. Still excellent for the money though.
Hiya Lex. Good to hear you got sorted out. Thx again for the photos. It is a good watch and I did my best to stay objective. Disappointed with the bracelet fit and finish as it lets down the watch but as you say, it may have been a one - off. They did a lot right though :)

A valiant first attempt to beat the good stuff from AliExpress, and although they are a UK based Microbrand in the UK, I would expect the production and assembly is Chinese based, but don’t quote me on that, I could well be wrong. Version 2 of of this watch could iron out its small issues and make it even better for the same price. To be honest, QC should have picked up on the bracelet issues before production started, but even so, I could live with these issues for the price paid.

I'm thinking of getting the orange dial version, since I need some color, I'm thinking of getting it off ebay, I'm wondering if there would be any issues with getting it into the states? I have a couple watches..around 43, now. from Aliexpress to some luxury Swiss ones, just wondering where it stacks up? When compared to a Seiko, San Martin, Cronos and Tissot, since I have those. I'm not expecting it to be on par with my Cartier or Rolex, but as long as its as its durable. I'm surprised that the case back isn't covered since it has 300m water resistance. Nice review

i bought the master series. almost good for the price. if only it had a screwdown crown.
They do assure 100m water resistance with double seal gaskets instead but I get what you mean :)

I recently bought this watch with NH35 movement. I winded it on thursday morning 9:00 55 times. Wore it continously except for sleeping and cooking so thats minus 8 hours a day. It stopped running at 6:25 this morning.... Is this normal??
Im afraid when have to wind it too often the screw threads gonna wear of?....
How many times you have to wind it a week?...
It's a new watch. Wear it for a few days to see that it is running properly. I normally wind a watch for about 25 turns .55 is excessive. When fully charged your watch should run for 40 hours or so. As I said give it a few days. It was probably not fully charged. You will not wear the threads
out but 55 turns is a lot!
@@johnswatchjoint I have the watch a few weeks now..maybe im taking it off too often for cooking or dishes maybe. I expected to have wind it once a week or smth...its my first automatic :) In future i only do 25 times now 😅😅
@@MrBasHolland just make sure you are moving your wrist during the day so the rotor auto winds the watch for you. Sitting around with not much movement means the mainspring is not being wound up. If you are convinced you are moving plenty then the movement must have a fault.

No. Camera foreshortens view. Even I can wear it with 6.75 inch wrist :)
