Great hair!! I'm new to being a fashion reseller on Poshmark, seriously working at it since July. I've been record keeping manually...(aka pen, paper in a book!!) Thanks for this video, I'm a do it yourself-er. Canadian content & info important. I just subscribed. Thank you 😊
Thank you SO much for this. I'm trying to move from end-of-year-tax-panic to being more organized going forward. I will be using the Google template, as it's the one thing that makes the most sense of all the research I've done. Super appreciate this video, thank you again.
Hello - we have a bookkeeping course that we offer on a platform called Thinkific. It includes some general bookkeeping knowledge but is mainly geared towards bookkeeping using our favorite software, Xero and Dext. You can check that out here: avalonacounting.thinkific.com/courses/bookkeeping-course
I am in a very different situation then probably 99% of you. I am First Nations selling First Nations products to First Nations people. For example blankets. Beadwork, jewelry etc. as a First Nations member in Canada selling to First Nations people in Canada we are all tax exempt which means I don’t charge Gst or pst to any of my customers. Because I don’t pay tax I can not write off anything in my business period. Now what I want to know is when filing my taxes at the end of the year what income do I report to the government? Taxable income only? I don’t know. If so then that would be $0.
Can you do a video on how to keep and organize your invoices/receipts? Maybe on quickbook?
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUUU this is so so helpful.

You are most welcome!
Great info thank you. How about some price range estimates? How can you possibly assess value for DIY vs hiring without knowing that?
Nice tips. (Love your Denim shirt.)
I would love to be your personal Video Editor for your channel. :)
are there any online services that file taxes on your behalf along with bookkeeping? or would I have to get an accountant or perhaps do it myself?
Thanks thanks thanks ☺️☺️👌🙏🙏

Thank you I really need help with this! When it's time for income tax I have tons of receipts and it's just a horrible mess.
That seems to be the norm, so you have good company! Really, setting a system up from the start can save so many headaches.

Also do I have to keep receipts for any purchases I make?im guessing no because I can’t claim anything anyway.
Can I land jobs in bookkeeping after a 2yr dioloma in canada??
Hi did you?
