Glad you enjoyed your week. Did you do laundry on board?Nice to preview a few ports I’m going to next January. Too many people for me, but the ship itself, pizza, communications from them, and the atrium look good! You’re younger, though! 😂 Also nice to see the “sensory certified” and taking care of any type of disability. Nice you could pick the group you want to leave in, especially as late as 11 AM. Never got to get off a ship that late. Would recommend everyone check their bill and settle up the night before and would also recommend Uber-but good to note the fare differences. Nice they did a disembarkation seminar, especially first-time cruisers or non-U.S. citizens. Excited to see your stay on the Queen Mary. Will also be watching your PC cruise, as that’s what I’m doing next Jan. Crazy weather in California lately! Usually hurricanes are just on East coast US and in the Gulf of Mexico. Glad you were safe.
Thanks for watching, Cheri - I’m so glad you enjoyed it and took so much away from the series - thank you! I agree - checking your bill is always key - I hear of so many people who get home, open an email with their balance / statement and then have to sit for ages on the phone…! Panama coming soon!! 😊
General reaction: Your technical work presenting video is outstanding. You have an eye for detail and construction. The same is true for how you present colors. I live on the border with Mexico and can vouch for nearly every objective element you have included in your narrative. I have myself taken this standard 7-day cruise on Carnival, Holland America, and Princess many times, including back-to-backs. While there are some notable emissions, like not using the famous pulmoneas in Mazatlan (I struggled watching you walk there instead), I think your work is superb. I look forward to seeing your next itinerary.
Hi there, glad you're enjoying SoCal. The Queen Mary is a big 'dilemma' these days - it's a gorgeous ship, but fixing it up to current standard is more than anyone wants to spend, and it's falling apart with corrosion, etc. Will be interesting to compare with Dubai (maybe the funding there is different). Enjoy California! Welcome from us Angelenos.
Hey, thanks for watching! Yeah, I could see she takes a HUGE amount of effort (and money) to upkeep - very visible in parts! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment - I did fall in love with California while I was there! 🥺
Thanks for this one, Fraser! Excellent point on Uber pricing if you can walk a bit. I've also found that's true. Depending on the port, you can save a lot! I've only done one Carnival cruise and loved being able to pick up luggage tags instead of having to go to customer service to change a time if my plans changed. Interesting someone thought you wouldn't like Carnival. 😊
Thanks Tammy, I found the same in Puerto Vallarta - it was MUCH cheaper for me to go into town from Wal Mart from the terminal, which was just across the road! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!
You hear a load of bad stories about carnival, in terms of passengers who are wild beyond belief, I'm guessing you didn't have any issues. But would you say Carnival is a good choice for a LGBT traveller in terms of social meet ups and positive vibe on the ship?
Absolutely zero issues on my cruise, but I do know the articles and feedback you’re referring to! There were LGBT meet ups 3-4 nights of the cruise, and solo meet ups every night!
Hey Joanne! The storm was interesting - it was downgraded from hurricane status a few hours before it hit - it brought really strong winds and lots of rain, but it could have been MUCH worse. It was interesting to see the city preparing for it - everything closed down, and it became a ghost town!!
@@FraserAtSea you’re doing a fine job with your business, and helping people be prepared during this mode of vacationing. If I were your grandmother, I’d be proud of the creativity and determination invested into being your own boss. Keep up the great work, and stay happy. You’re blessed. 🙏

Really useful tips there as always. How was the storm when it hit? A year’s worth of rain??? You are from the uk…. It won’t be news for you eh?

Thank you, Roberta! Lots more to come! :)
Hi Fraser. As informative as ever. 😊
Thanks very much, Ade!
P and o need to learn from this for accessibility
I was really impressed with what was being done. The great thing is they’re the same parent company, so you may see fleet wide changes!
Hello,come listen and watch 😊❤
Thanks!!
