I'm surprised they didn't choose Kyle to be a permanent model. She already knew the games and how things worked after being a substitute model for about 9 years.
I can't Believe I found my Episode, wow I look so young and skinny. LoL 😆 This was Taped I Believe around January 1996 and aired this date. Thank you so much for Uploading.
@@NDW85 , sadly I wasn't picked. Although i was visible because my cousin and I are 3rd row behind the contestants green seat. There's an interview by casting members on the audience before they enter the studio. Was there at 5AM didn't get in until the second show which is afternoon.
I was also at this taping. It was the only taping I ever attended. I still have my name tag as a souvenir. I used a safety pin instead of peeling the sticker off because I knew I wanted to save it. By the way, it was taped on February 13th as it was right before Valentine’s Day and one of the audience members was asking Bob to be her Valentine). I also know this because I drove from Phoenix to LA in a rented Ford Mustang convertible and I had to wait until my 25th birthday to rent that type of car
you prolly dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last months =)
I was at this taping, but it’s hard to see myself due to the static. Bob called on me during the commercial break to demonstrate an ohh and ahh just prior to the showcase to tell the audience how to react to the oncoming prizes. Apparently I was terrible at it because he told me to sit down and be quiet. I have a copy of this on VHS.
@@nextbarker2702 idk… I thought you meant to say RIP Rod but I just looked up her name and saw some posts, (but not any official news or an obituary) that she had died last month at 64.
I was at this taping. They usually run the showcases right after each other in one take but they needed about five minutes to set up the second showcase, so Bob took some Q&A from the audience. One girl asked about the daytime version that ran recently starring Doug Davidson from Y&R. Bob explained that it had been cancelled due to creative differences between the two shows. Bob also revealed that they only give away American cars on the show. That must've been a recent change because I had seen foreign cars given away before, but it look like they stuck with that policy until Bob retired because I can't remember seeing a foreign car given away after that.

Oh, well, 5 winners out of 6 games played is nothing to throw a fit about, in my opinion. Also, despite the fact that Kathy botched up the perfect show, this was still a great episode with some good contestants like when Melissa won the 10 thousand buckaroonies in Grand game, or when Daniel won 10 chances after almost messing up trying to guess the price of the 3rd digit prize, or when Aaron won all 4 prizes on his 2nd attempt playing Race game (with 14 seconds to spare), or when Katherine got the key that the opened the car lock in Master Key after getting the imposter key.
@@NDW85I was at this taping. Most of the games that day were easy. Kimmey’s pricing game was a gimmey as the first digit was a choice of either an eight of a one, and you always pick the second number as the freebie and the third number is often a zero. In the grand game, I knew right off the bat that the last four grocery items were the ones to pick, and ten chances is an automatic winner if you know the unwritten rule. I would have won the race game on the first try as I was figuring all the prices in my head as they were being described. I would’ve lost in squeeze play because I would have also picked a zero as history suggests that it’s rare for two zeros to appear in a four digit price. In master key, I would’ve picked the fifth and the first key (which turned out to be the car). It was never revealed what the fifth key opened but we know it wasn’t the nothing key because it was already revealed. But I’m afraid I would’ve severely underbid on the first showcase and overbid on the second. Watching it again here, I bid $26,000 in my head on the second showcase which would’ve been within $226 but that’s because I didn’t know enough about the 4x2 SUV as I do now, (they don't really exist up in northern states where I live, as you need a four wheel drive in bad weather) so I would’ve bid much higher back then. The threshold to win both showcases was still $100 so I retrospectively wouldn’t have won both.

Had Kathy remove the right digit in Squeeze Play, it would've been a perfect show.

I would have removed the zero too. It’s rare that two zeros would be a price in any prize on the show.
