Every watch powerblock tv......Oops it's powernation tv now, it is pretty good as well and tetz is one of the host, they have four 30 min shows (not bare bone and down to the truth like this cause of sponsors). Gearz was great on speed channel but now it is Velocity and they still have a few good shows, Wheeler Dealer and Car Fix (there is all girls garage but it is like oil changing and stuff).
I've seen all the shows you mentioned and have watched PowerBlock for a long time. Car fix is a little too corny some times for my taste. That Camaro they built was very nice. Gearz is great. But there is to many "Counting Cars", Gas Monkey, Lords of hordes etc... Where its not about the cars or the craft but about drummed up drama. Reality car shows are so dumbed down its sad.
thephranc Yea those "barn find" treasure hunting shows are a joke. "Oh you found a Yenko Camaro in Utah that a little old lady bought new with all the paperwork and service history in showroom condition, and she only wants $1000 to make room for her cats." It is crap like that and american choppers that made me sick of "building" shows. American hotrod was a HUGE joke, why would I take/buy anything from a group of guys who act like a bunch of women trying to have the prettiest dress. Of course I could always take my car to West Coast Customs and get a fish tank installed. Cause you know, having a fish tank in a car that can reach 120 degrees inside is a perfect idea LOL.
Another good show was 'Chop, cut, rebuild'. But I'm also old enough to remember 'Shadetree Mechanic' and when 'Two guys garage' started and didn't have the two meatball hosts it has now.
I watched this whole series and as pleased as I am with the idea behind the show, and I also want to say Kevin did a awesome job through out the whole series. The producers really dropped the ball here when they could have done so much more. I feel there was a lot of the actual hands on part left out and a lot of just "Filler" thrown in. I was very excited when i found this as i am working on a similar project, just bummed at home much I feel I missed out on.
As Usual, Nice Job Kevin!! Thanks for bringing the "info", especially based around a Camaro. I like how you're able to be candid without TV-type restrictions.
I'm delighted to see you doing the 78 Z-28! The 78-81 Z-28's and 77-81 TA's are some of the best looking body styles ever, but as you said, were underpowered due to the times they were built in. Even so, they were very popular when new and many were sold, making them pretty easy and affordable projects to obtain. And they've been making a comeback for a few years now. So, the power can be easily remedied and they always had great handling, and are definitely attention-getters on the road. They are nostalgic for me, since I liked them when they came out when I was in my 20's, but never owned one then. But finally I got a 79 TA in '06, which has been a lot of fun and now I have 3 projects. Always good to have extras. By the way, the door glass is reproduced and most easily found on eBay. So, thanks and am enjoying the videos! Steve
This is a great idea!!! Anything we can do to help just pick up the phone and ask. This could be the model to bring our the american car culture to the wolds developing DIY people that are sure to develop.

Muy buenos sus producto y sus programas .lo malo es que no colocan al menos subtitulado un solo programa .en ESPAÑOL de todos modos hay mucho mercado en sur América para ustedes
Just so people know, when you go to look at a project car, you can't just start stabbing it and ripping the headliner out. It's still someone else's car.
My buddys Mom just got a 78' Z28 for 2500$ because the woman was getting a divorce from he husband. The car is mint and all they had to do to it was give it a paint job.
This is what I want in a car show. Not "reality TV" drama.

Is there a way to reverse the autoplay so it plays from oldest to newest as opposed to the newest to oldest.

I love that he restored a Mustang and a Camaro, real car guys don't care if it's Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. All of them are badass.
As an owner of a '79 Z28 that could use a lot of work, I'm looking forward to more of this.
This is a great idea!!!
