Dave doesn't get nearly the respect he deserves. In the age of climbing blowing up few if any new climbers knows who he is. He's from "the old" generation basically and still hanging with the best of the best. Showing basically no sign of slowing down. He is by far my favorite climber: he shows you don't need to be jacked, do 1 arm pull ups (maybe he can now?) and still be able to climb BOTH bouldering and sport in the highest of grades. Truly the wizard of climbing.

Would love to meet the guy one day at a crag. Of all the greats he seems the coolest. Still remember some of his interview, always a pleasure to listen and watch them again, as well as some ascents. Coup de Grace and Spectre have been very inspirational to me over the years.
