I think this may be the most significant video you guys have ever put out. I mean let's be honest you take us to mind blowing places but this is literally once in a lifetime of once in a lifetimes. You two are delirious in the most exciting good way. To watch you guys act like a pair of kids the night before christmas is a fresh change to the channel.
THE…BEST…VIDEO…ON…THE…ENTIRE…INTERNET!!! I mean, how could it be any better?! A true adventure, beautiful scenery, excellent funny engaging hosts/narrators, snow everywhere, driving through in machines equal to the task… and even a dog or two!!! It can’t get any better than this!!! This totally ROCKS!!!
Definitely one of your best videos! As Kevin was doing shenanigans on the Arctic circle, I chuckled to myself wondering what the original owner would think of this. He just sat on it in his garage, meanwhile you guys are taking it out on these insane adventures. Maybe he made a few grand on it, but these adventures are priceless.
I remember one night the northern lights were really active and there were colors other than green and it was so beautiful I started to get cold. After spending years working outside everyday saying you were getting cold is a way of saying you were way too distracted, dangerously distracted.. It was so beautiful and unusual to see colors other than green I will cherish the memory for the rest of my life.
Yes Britany, sometimes you just got to stop and admire Nature's beauty! Dog sledding! Now that's a once in a lifetime event! What an adventure you both had! Happy Trails to you both!
Fantastic trip , I can't wait to do this trip this summer . You had to deal with cold , in the summer it's insects , black flies , mosquitos , and the roads , if it rains a lot , well , they turn to a mud mucky mess , and with the trucks flying past , it's a whole other set of issues to contend with . Still can't wait 'cause like you said how many people do this and travel this remote . There is so much to explore in the north of Canada , and it's all pristine and absolutely beautiful . Last year I did the Trans Taiga trail in Northern Quebec , you wanna talk remote , when you hit the end of the Trans Taiga at Caniapiscau you are 750 km from the nearest town the furthest you can get from a town in North America on a track ,an absolutely beautiful feeling to be that remote , and a bucket list acomplishment for sure. Did it solo in my awesome built for overland travel Tank green 2 door JK , what a trip AWESOME!! Cheers Wild Bill , overlanding the North of Canada 👍 . Never stop exploring!!
Absolutely awesome , your living life as it should be . Thank you for taking us on your trip with you . We got to experience a journey that wouldn't have been possible without you . Keep up the content . Thanks .
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us please understand how you helped many people feel better when they watch your videos. You can effect emotions in a great way
In January 1989 I drove from Texas up the Al Can to Anchorage in a 78 Chevy 2500 loaded down with 20 extra gallons of gas, 4 extra tires and a 4x4 quad in the back along with plenty of provisions and cold weather gear thinking I gonna have the time of my life, all was good tell a semi passed me in the middle of nowhere Yukon kicking up the snow dust and I caught the edge of the powder and ended up on my roof in the snow bank. I’m sure he didn’t see what happened, I couldn’t dig the quad out, thankfully the windows stayed in tack and I was prepared because it was 6 hours before another vehicle came along. I got a ride to Dry Creek, next day got a wrecker out and flipped it over, pulled plugs and it started up and continued on tell about 100 miles out of Anchorage when the rear left tire fell off because I didn’t realize the axle was bent from the roll over. What an adventure. That is truest beautiful and brutal country up there and I am a little jealous of your adventures right now.
For having born, grown and living in tropical, i wonder if my heart won’t stop once i spend the whole time you spent in that freezing area! Your are quite resistant! More on that you keep your smile🤣🤣🤣
so i take scout troop kids camping up to -30, mainly cause any colder than that and we waste too much gas letting trucks idle randomly. at least in CO and you previously knew, most anti-freeze is only good to around -35 ish. but back to my point, if you can tolerate 0, you can tolerate -30 cause (again here in CO) there's very little moisture in the air at those temps. the snow is squeaky and powder dry. some of the most miserable camping i've done though was in November, at +25 overnight. But it was 45 during the day and lightly rained for about 2 hours. 95% humidity and 25 degrees was brutal. Couldn't get warm in sleeping bags due to everything being saturated.
Yes I agree about the wet cold vs dry cold. I went to Oregon State and one winter I visited my cousin in Boulder and it was 5°F for a week. I covered everything up and was able to get warm. Went back to Corvallis and it was 45°F and I was colder than when I was in Boulder.
Ford Bronco Raptor team should be proud. You all are awesome for the way you ran the Raptor across the frozen Arctic Ocean. Amazing!! Hopefully Ford will contact you guys to use some footage of actual customers using the Bronco Raptor in true Raptor conditions, and it’s showing itself to be the appropriate tool to use. Also I hope Corporate Ford Engineers reach out to you so they can get a rare opportunity to view how the systems and components held up in such challenging conditions. Partnerships to be had all around. That’s for taking me on a wonderful digital adventure. I loved it 😊!
I was stationed 4 yrs in North Pole Alaska ( Airforce), been on 60 below for weeks, and snow over 4 feet in my yard. But a dry cold is a lot different from the lower 48 cold. But the Chances of frost bites goes up. Northern lights are amazing to see in person. I'm glad to see they enjoyed frozen snow and ice roads. If anyone gets the chance to visit, try the bald eagle run in Haines Alaska. There's nothing like seeing an eagle catch a salmon or fly upside down holding one.
Another once in a lifetime opportunity you are sharing with us. We used to have the occasional -20F days in Indiana (not wind chill). I took my X and new born daughter home from the hospital on one of those days. I used to go to snowmobile races where the parking was on the ice.
I am a Canadian that spent many winters in Northern BC and Alberta. In blizzards driving I found that lane memorization helped me through lots of on coming semis. Also felt the tug you mentioned too
A great trip. We drove it in late February 2004 all the way to Inuvik and then up to Tuktoyaktuk using the ice road - that was before the new road was constructed. What amazing scenery.
I live in eastern Montana and -14 is actually pretty normal and at least once a yr our cold weather beats Alaska's cold weather. -54 was what we got this last winter we are coming out of. You guys said it didn't really feel that cold due to being there for a few days. After our week long -'s 0 degrees feels like t-shirt weather. Its amazing our bodies can acclimate to such extreme temps so quickly.
As humidity goes up you’ll feel colder at the same air temperature. The moisture reduces the efficiency of your thermal barrier (coat insulation, long underwear, etc).
That was some "Beast" out your window @4:19. That's what you need up there. Epic journey, trip, adventure and video. LITE BRITE, LAST SEEN DRIVING NORTH.
Insane! Drifting on the Arctic Ocean? All bundled up like (..dare I say it..) the Michelin Man! But the DOGS!, they just don’t care how cold it is. What’s amazing beside the Nitto Tires are the Vehicles! All seem to have worked without trouble or breakdowns?! Can’t wait to see more. LiteBriteNationExtremes!
I see Chris supertuned your AC 😂! Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us you guys. Kevin's going to the right just a bit didn't work out as well for me at this time 😉🤣. Much love you guys ❤❤💯🤙
@FordPerformance these 2 have taken their Braptor SO far beyond anyone and done R&D from red rock rock crawling to arctic,..please sponsor Lite Brite !!
The pads on the thumbs of your gloves are 100% for wiping your nose. I had a pair of Burton gloves that had that pad on 1 thumb and a little plastic squeegee on the other one for your goggles.
I worked building the, Dempster Highway for 4 years in the early 1970s. You didn't really see bad weather or good northern lights. There might be a blizzard @ -40 degrees with 50 mph winds and there might be northern lights in 4 colors sweeping rapidly across the entire sky. Better luck next time. ❄️👍
I spent 9 months working on the Alaska Pipeline up north in Prudhoe Bay and I drove upon the Artic Ocean Ice. It was scarey. This was in in 1977 & 78 - went out to a drilling rig. Welcome to the club of Those who have done that. ;-)
interesting to see the arctic circle from that side of the world! i just did the norway side and it...is obviously similar minus the wild, rogue shirtless men at 24:55 🤣
I use a Midland MicroMobile base station in my Jeep, it is pure awesome! As the lead, i've held comms with an entire 50 Jeep train...in the woods! CB won't do that. Its also nice as i can usually raise other groups on the trails to find out where they are and what they are doing to coordinate better.
Incredible series, take it all in. You are right not many travel our north and many never get the opportunity to see how beautiful our country is. I spent about 12 years servicing and installing grocery stores all across the Canadian Arctic, most of which you can't drive to. Although I don't fly anymore I still travel to northern communities if I can drive. I remember I was doing work in Pond Inlet Nunuvut while my wife was in Cabo Mexico. We couldn't of been further from eachother on the continent lol. Stay warm and keep them vids coming!
Enjoying your journey with you. Something I have always wanted to do, however it is just a dream now. Thanks for showing the trip, keep enjoying yourselves and be safe!
The winter world is a whole different place your A/T tires are only good when you stay on the road. Once you get into that snow you need much more aggressive tires and air down of course.
Guys, this is a very fantastic trip. Glad you brought us along. You have made the bucket list longer. I recommend your summer trip. Go to Newfoundland.
use a snow/sand anchor when there's no trees. But there expensive for something you hardly use. always good to be in a group to anchor off each other with no trees.
Awesome Trip!! The Northern Lights Were Awesome!! Now I want it to snow so I can go play in the Jeep!! Looked Like It Was So Much Fun!!! You Guys Are So Lucky And Blessed To Do These Amazing Things And Get Paid For Doing Them!!! That’s The Best Part Of All!! Stay Safe!!!
Great video and beautiful scenery..I will never make it up there to see those things so it’s great to watch your videos ..not a lot of people can say they were there..keep up the great work.
Ya'll are so lucky and truly blessed to get to go on such amazing adventures that 99% of us will never ever get to do! I'm dieing so I know I sure won't get to, thank you for taking us along! And Kevin you got an amazing Beautiful wife you guys are great, I still wish the Bronco had a V8 cause it just dosnt sound right. Other than that nice rig!! Stay safe and God bless❤

Awesome videos of your artic expedition, I ran into this one from 1978 and thought you would enjoy watching it. There are a couple 30 min videos of it here on youtube. 1978 Jeep Expedition of the Americas
Great adventure. I’m enjoying tagging along with you. Years back I bagged a bull moose not all that far from White Horse. But it was in September and the weather was quite a bit milder than what you have. Beautiful country for sure.
When it got really cold out I would wear cotton thermals. Quilted thermals. Wool uniform(I was in the Air Force). Parka and F1B pants. Wool socks and mukluks with wool liners and a wool insole. Wool cap light gloves and heavy mittens on a string finished out our clothes. Two inches of clothes, a bad case of shrinkage and you have to go really bad, you really have to push really hard or you could dribble on stuff you really need to keep dry. Ahhh, the good old day. Not interested in repeating the experience but am so glad I had that experience.

I’ve been thinking about taking a cruise to Alaska for a couple years now. This is WAY BETTER!
Man there’s something about that song that you guys play that just makes me smile every time 30:43

That's the LCC-1 Sno-Train made by LeTourneau Inc.
Theres a Channel called Calum who has a fantastic video about them!
@@GordonTurnerr You would had thought they'd show us it. They were right next to it. It is a fascinating mobile lab with lots of history.
that "turn on the AC" bit was pretty damn funny 29:51. I wasn't expecting that lol!

Sounds like a fun game Kevin.... "Fuel or death!" Glad you guys made it to the next gas station!
Whoa! What an epic road trip and the memory that's imbeded in your brain forever. Cheers from Denver Colorado!
Enjoying your journey with you. Something I have always wanted to do, however it is just a dream now. Thanks for showing the trip, keep enjoying yourselves and be safe!
Going fast on a frozen body of water can cause pressure waves under the ice. That will cause fractures in the ice and open up. Mostly on lakes rivers.
been here since day 1 and this might be the greatest video yet love you guys glad to be here with everyone on this crazy wild journy
❤️

How fun was that trip...great recording and music.....thanks for the ride
That was fun! Thanks for sharing!
I was miserable this morning in Cincinnati with the 15° outside but then I watched you guys up there at 30-50° degrees colder and now I feel better!
Wow!!! What an experience! Thank you for sharing with us
use a snow/sand anchor when there's no trees. But there expensive for something you hardly use. always good to be in a group to anchor off each other with no trees.

You both are so blessed. The views are beautiful. Take care God bless.
40 inch trail grapplers and portals will definitely help when there's 🕷TARANTULA down pours🕷! Great series so far!
Watching this video makes me very excited for my recon grapplers to get here for my raptor. Such an awesome video and experience!

Very good, thanks.
Hey as a truck driver who has a preference of clothing to wear when I'm on the road ... Kevin I understand your comfortable driving gear!!!
Awesome job and thanks for sharing your experiences! You both are fun to watch.
This makes me miss living in Alaska. Enjoy your trip and stay safe.
Your best video ever! That was fun.
Have also driven on an ice bridge on more than one occasion. Most recent was in Saskatchewan, where there is a ferry in the summer.
This video didn't show up in my feed and I only found it by checking your channel directly after I saw todays video pop up. Wonderful video.
Glad you checked! RUclips hasn’t been notifying our subscribers recently of our new posts, unfortunately.
Just a note. If you tap the check mark next to the GPS indicator that will let you know a Ford Sync update completed and it will go away.
I want you to do it so the OCD in me can relax since it's been in a couple of videos now. 😂
Awesome videos of your artic expedition, I ran into this one from 1978 and thought you would enjoy watching it. There are a couple 30 min videos of it here on youtube.
1978 Jeep Expedition of the Americas
You guys have definitely had a trip of a life time ❤❤ dog sledding is the most fun I’ve ever had
I grew up in northern Alberta, Canada and roads like what you are on is not that unusual in the winter. Not everyday, but not uncommon.
Great adventure. I’m enjoying tagging along with you. Years back I bagged a bull moose not all that far from White Horse. But it was in September and the weather was quite a bit milder than what you have. Beautiful country for sure.
Absolutely one cool trip .. can’t wait for more cool stuff..
It's the End of the Road as we know it!
