Our New Bronco Raptor Gets TRAIL DAMAGE!

  • For the sake of science, we're off road torture testing the all new Ford Bronco Raptor like no one else (just like we did when we first got our Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon back in the day). And in our pursuit to find the limits of the Bronco Raptor's 4x4 capabilities, trail damage is inevitable. In fact...that's ultimately the point - finding the weaker links so that we can ultimately figure out how to improve the vehicle to make it even better.
Hope you all enjoy the video!

When I play a videogame and my character reaches a super high level and becomes very powerful I often get bored...then I will sometimes create a new or play a lower level character and I often find that the lack of power forces me to use skills that I've forgotten (because I didn't need them to be successful). watching the sheer joy on your face as you offroad this "lower level" character (vs your rediculously built out jeep) is fun. It's like your having more fun than just "well, I guess I'll just press the gas pedal and go over anything"...you're having to pucker more and think more and your smile is definitely bigger.

But the most shocking thing is this dune bombing IFS Bronco can flat out crawl…if it proves to be durable at this level of wheeling then Ford has got the themselves a winner!

I love that it's at least "as good" as the Rubicon. In my mind though, it's always dollar based. $90+k gets you a lot of vehicle. I wonder what Big Mike from Marlin Crawler has in his Taco for instance.

Not to shabby for a stock Raptor built for the desert and not rock crawling! Happy Trails to both of you!

Exactly! I think Jeep people fail to understand this was forged in the desert!!

The Braptor def shines in the desert and high speed off roading was the main element but it was built to be an all around off roader good everywhere. Ford tested the hell out of it on slow speed rock crawling just like this just as much as they did in high speed desert running. Having great articulation for rock crawling but also have the IFS for great on road and being more comfortable at higher speeds in the desert. They basically thought of everything with this and it does seem to be very good everywhere. Also being beefed up more, hopefully the durability and reliability is great too. We shall see with that though but it’s def not out of its element on the rocks.

@@andyham6094 it really is! The braptor is a jack of all trades and master of one, that being the desert. It fills the void in that saying. You can clearly tell there is a bit of a nepotism towards Jeeps here, and I’m not against it. To each is own, but I feel this absolutely demolishes a wrangler in the desert. To me, the choice is obvious, and it’s the reason these braptors are selling for such ridiculous ADMs. I’m looking for one, but no way I’m paying the adm.

At around the 4min mark my guy says "Not yet" When Britney guides him to turn hard driver. Like, DUDE, have you met your wife? I'm kinda sure that she's the best spotter to ever exist! She could guide a trans-am on cinderblocks through the entire Rubicon trail! lol When she says anything as a spotter, it's not a question! Y'all're awesome!

Y'all literally rock. Dude your driving skills are incredible and Brittney is an awesome spotter for you, great teamwork. Ford should have you guys test all there off road vehicles and tell them what they need to do to improve them. I'm going to get a set Nitto Recons for my son's Ranger. My 23 bronco is supposed to be built next month, we'll see only been waiting since 2021.
