How about a Goruck kitbag 32 video?? I’ve had great luck with GR2 shooter as a camera / travel bag, the Velcro lining loves all the random dividers from your camera bags! So Maybe a three stage review given the little one . Kitbag: diaper, camera, diaper / camera.
It's hard to pick one as I kind of carry depending on my needs. If I literally had to pick a single bag from my collection I'd be hard pressed to decide between maybe the GORUCK GR2 26L and the Bellroy Apex. DSPTCH Daypack coming in just behind those. But there are a lot of other good packs I enjoy using depending on my moods.
What if you used a GR3 for long trips with this bullet packed up inside as a tear away ruck for photography (that you can also remove the camera cube from to use as your daily carry)
I'm kinda a super light packer. Even for a 3 week trip I can normally get by with a 26L pack unless I need suits. The trip I mentioned in the video I just used a 32L Kit Bag for my clothes. Worked great and all kinda matched ;) I think the GR3 is too big for my frame.
It definitely will. Quite nicely, in fact. It's a bit awkward in how it opens considering the way the UA21 opens with the tri-zip but it certainly fits.

I got both the new ruckers and the back feels so good on my shirts. Doesn’t pull on my shirt.
You'll probably really like the new one then. I'm definitely a fan of the softer material in terms of how it feels. If you ever do get one, use my link haha. Helps my wife allow me to keep doing these ;) I've been tempted by the bigger new Rucker myself.
I like the new 25L Rucker cause it can use the longer plates as well :) and the 2 pouches to keep the weight high up. Will try use your links if I can, still waiting for my unicorn 26L gr2 haha

Very creative idea! I love it. Just wondering that between the 500D GR1 and the Goruck typical 1000D, which one is better if you can only keep one? I really like the slick version, simple and clean, which I can use everywhere. But I saw some people say the 1000D material is too rough to clothing and not gentle to the skin either. Is that true? 1000D doesn’t fit EDC purpose? Still haven’t decided if I should pull the trigger or not after reading those comments.
In my personal experience, the conversation about 1000D is mostly placebo and nonsense. It's not kind to expensive suits, sure. I don't exactly envision wearing a backpack with an expensive suit anyway. On skin, maybe, if you're rucking or doing some crazy exercising with the bag on but for what the average person does I don't think it matters. I like the 500D versions for other reasons. I just think it feels a little more broken in more quickly. But I like both.

I'm always surprised at how much the bullet will hold. Especially with the slightly more malleable 500D.
