Governments increasingly use detention as a central component of immigration and asylum policy. The lecture addresses several important questions.
What does immigration detention look like? How is it a reflection of those societies that tolerate its use and the policies that support and endorse its expansion? What place does it have in the journeys of those migrating across borders today?
Using photography and testimony, this lecture visually translates several immigration detention systems and shares first-hand stories.
This lecture was recorded by Dr Greg Constantine on 18th March 2024 at Barnard's Inn Hall, London

Someone is making huge amounts of wealth from all this misery and its also causing a lot of resentment. Only the other day I was talking to a young Muslim woman who said illegal immigration is out of control and it puts us all in peril.
So the Bank of England which is privately owned are the reprobates making huge wealth from this situation. They are funding it so far its costing the British taxpayers £2 billion and rising per annum to house and feed people who have no legal right to be here. Of course, the BoE charges interest on the borrowed fiat currency they are allowed to create from nothing.
For an Island such as we are on in England this situation is not sustainable key services are collapsing as they are overwhelmed. The traitors in Parliament have allowed over one million people to migrate legally without any consultation or consent from the people. Be in no doubt these people are committing treason and the only way to stop them is by everyone engaging in mass noncompliance. That means refusing to fund their beastly system and starving them of the unlawful taxation that they demand. I stopped paying council tax back in 2008 it can be done and thousands of us are doing so and our numbers are getting bigger every day.

People's capacity for cruelty is boundless if they don't see the impact for themselves
