I love this street fighter, cuz even on a competitive level, it's more like trading blows than juggling your opponent with non-stop combos. Not sure if the other Street Fighters are like this competitively, since I don't have much experience playing them.
Spacing, poking and neutral, thats the street fighter way. Its not like strive or mortal kombat, you might as well put your controller down during some of the combos in those games.

I feel like this game is going to do a lot better than any street fighter I have never really played a street fighter in my life but I’ve heard all about it but this one seems to have been promoted a lot by other people and it looks very well polished I think it will do very well as I will definitely be picking it up.
Apparently the controls are simpler than past games
@@primeoctober Nop, the controls are even more complicated. most of the normals are negative and to stay positive, you need to spend the drive rush.
Also, now you have 3 supers, and the ex bars are separated from the ca bar.
The one who spends DR in a stupid way, is doomed to lose.

Gouchi was doing some amazing combos but his use of the drive gauge was lacking. That last round demonstrates it perfectly. He was able to do so many hit but it cost him all his drive gauge and wasnt going to be nearly enough to finish Sonicfox.
He left himself in a very bad position, and several times in the match he either misused the gauge or wasted it. Sonicfox def used the meter and gauge better, and he damn well used a lot of throws to whittle down his opponent.
Yea I'm interested to see what the "meter meta" is going to be a few months after release. From the Intel Pax tournament this past weekend it looks like people are not too afraid to burn it. Could just be because they are still getting used to managing it, which I suspect is the case.
I mean youre kinda right but I think they both just playing arround and tried things out. LUL youre way to serious for a beta but youre right LUL ^^

I disagree with the visual cue at 1:44 during Chun-Li kicks because it looks blue it looks like juri was blocking when in fact she was getting hit they should definitely update that. In an intense match visual cue is blue your mind is going to register she's blocking

Sonic fox is definitely gonna be one of the people with an edge in this game. He's one of those people that loves the whole guage and drive system concept.
One of the reasons he didn't pop off in street fighter before or games like Tekken

@blueberry pancakes with butter and syrup think it's more of because of the type of game it is it's more laid back like footsies based hes good at fighting games with insane options player expression and crazy fast decision-making like Dragonball Skullgirls ect seems Street Fighter 6 moving in that direction so it fits his play style alot more then 5

@@nahsanimack5885 it probably got better but I got it at launch and after about 2 months it wasn’t worth playing. I got the additions and dlcs but the damage was done. I’d already gone back to IV

@@resof Take note of the difference in the Distance and Speed of forward dash compared to back dash. In this you can see that by game design it is supposed to be a faster game

I don't think i saw one parry the whole set
Parry seems strong but situational. This was way too early to start seeing people using ALL of the systems properly. I think a month after release we will only start seeing the full picture of how people will use the drive systems.

It has been fixed already in the later builds, they already showed the updated animation which looks alot better.

I’ve been away from street fighter since the early days but what they hell they been feeding chun li she was fine as she was but what’s with this cardi b thick almost fat muscle thighs? Looks silly af but the rest of the game is rather colorful and looks pretty good.
Chun Li increased her steroid intake in this game in order to remain competitive. They help with her recovery time and makes her even stronger than before.

Old street fighter was the worst. The best characters were just the best zoners and the worst characters were those that couldn't zone well like E Honda. Modern SF is definitely better

@@zxy8696 bro talking out of his ass. Watched the vid and It's either SF predicting that GO1 is in recovery, or the jumps are properly spaced that it can't get punished. The rest are 2 instances of jump in getting air to aired and the other where go1 tries to punish on landing for a better payoff.

This is an early beta build, also we only got to use 8 out of 18 characters so we don't know the matchups yet, for all we know Juri could be ass against the other 10 characters

@@Potato_Quality7 the full roster is 18, at least what was announced, the leaked roster showed 4 other characters but those are assumed to be the season 1 dlc
No offense or anything to sonic cuz by all means his better than me which really don’t mean much seeing as how I’ve never played SF before or in my whole life. His skills seem to have fallen off, in the matches we seen unlike his opponent he spammed out the same move 4 time hoping for a different result each time on top of that he messed up his combos several time or used the same 10 hit input constantly with little to no adaptation to his opponents play style. His opponent on the other hand was to defensive for most of the matches an failed his fundamentals (spacing) but his opponent was able to read sonic on several occasions an capitalize off of that furthering off that his opponent actually mixed an matched his combos an used his bar and meter accordingly to much better results. If that is indeed the sonic fox of old he was lost his edge. Now while you could argue that SF6 is a new game with new mechanics an new hit box’s taking a look at SF5-6 not much in the way of mechanics has changed theirs slight alterations to the character for example Juri doesn’t have any safe over heads anymore and Jung doesn’t have any safe lows anymore but other than that the two characters haven’t really changed (other than appearance and spacing).
Please do not take this as me challenging or denying sonic in anyway shape or form his far better than most players. But looking at SF6 matches it doesn’t seem that many characters have combo options so it could be poor design on the devs part. But what do I know
They need a new combo system for this game not the same crap over and over agen yes better graphics yes nice super move but the comdo system is still the same one since street fight 2 low hit low hit mid hit high hit then special move links with super all the freaking street fighter game use the same combo if they use the combo system like killer instinct or tekken or their own new combo system cheap crap move like trap your enemies in a corner n keep tripping them wo t work or use fire ball fallow by low hit wont work any more but they still fallow the same crap formula so cheap move is. Called skill in this game 🤣🤣🤣
