3:04 - 3:18 is just the most elegant and beautiful 14 secs I’ve ever seen of a marvel movie, the way the music is emulating the scene with the rings swirling around telepathically , Shang chi is truly unique and up there with daredevil☝️🙏
Yeah some people just want to ditch marvel movies when technically Shang chi or any mcu movies are the pinnacle of CGI/ high budget movies in the cinema world! I remind only 50 movies has reach the billion box office and none of those movies are any better CGI wise! I am a big fan of how the villain really turned out to be not a human of any kind, but some sort of Lovecraftian nightmare from beyond the void. Underrated.

I love how his aunt is kinda smiling while watching him. Like she knew he was born for this and he was fulfilling his destiny. Where everyone else was staring in awe as he defeated the beast.

Ya’ll talking about the final move, but I am no less impressed by how at 0:50 he used the rings as sort of stairs to decelerate his *and* his sister’s fall. Just shows how inventive he can be in the heat of a battle between godlike beings.
I like how the ring are quite versatile and depends on user how they want use it. His father usually use it aggressive and turn it into projectile and whip while he use it defensively and more with close combat using the ring as his body reinforcement.
At 3:17; The way Xailing swings her arm, putting all her might into one last cast and lets out one final battle cry. This 5 second scene sells this entire moment for me. Such an empowering moment.
I loved this movie, how he repeats he won’t leave her again to his sister, really shows the connection and importance of family. The arrow being shot by someone who just literally learnt to shoot an arrow and it flew hundreds of metres to pierce the monster in the throat. Was amazing. Definitely up there with the likes of zoolander and invention of lying.

From a script standpoint it’s by far the best mcu phase 4 film. As nwh is a great film by its self without tobey and Andrew but Shang chi just had a better plot and story all together

the CGI in this movie is not bad. The running and choreography were made intentionally like that to pay homage to the classic Chinese fighting choreography in movies
I don't get why people NEED CGI to be perfect to enjoy it. It's no different than watching an animated movie at that point. Even if it's noticeable, as long as it's not amateur level quality, it's enjoyable.
The use of the rings throughout the movie was so awesome to see, but the part when they jump from dragon to dragon, then he runs and chucks the rings to then use as handholds in the air to avoid danger was inspired
I never watched last fight scene of Shang-chi and now I've it, it's best movie of Phase 4! Spidy movie was more about completing Andrew's spidy arc and Nostalgia, while this one has good storytelling, good backstory, epic fight scenes, hand to hand combat scenes and mystical creatures, epic battle music! 10/10 Kevin feige's decision is damn right, Shang-chi director can make next avengers movie!

Using the rings to essentially grind up the insides of the enemy is an absolutely BRUTAL and effective use of it. Ffs imagine him just surging one ring into a person and spinning it to grind them up from the inside
What I did enjoy in this film is how the Dragon's introduction didn't seem corny or over the top. Like when it showed, you could actually feel the impact of seeing this creature. Comparing this to Iron First, I could not take the idea of the dragon in that show or the defenders seriously. Side note, should they reboot Iron fist completely, it should be done through another Shang-Chi film. "Shang Chi, and the Legend of the Iron Fist".
The problem with Iron Fist is that they treated him like a joke, so none of his lore ever got taken seriously by anyone, including the other defenders.

Who ever made the change to the 10 ring did a smart move because it allow for some epic fight sequences and flashy fighting style and also its a homage to the Hung Gar Kung Fu style which is awesome!!! lol
MCU's phase 4 had directors like Chloe Zhao (Oscar winner), Sam Raimi (one of the most experienced and beloved CB movie directors around), and Taika Waititi. I think all of them were, without knowing, auditioning to see if they'd get to be the next Avenger's director. But here Destin Daniel Cretton proved that he was (by far) the superior director. All of his choices, but for the action and emotional parts, were extremely good. Although the CGI is not very well done in many parts, this movie has been the only good surprise in MCU after Endgame. (Honorable mentions to No Way Home and Jon Watts who was a KO, and to Ryan Coogler who will probably knock it out of the park as well in Wakanda Forever)
