Clippers are lucky to have an owner like Steve.
Absolutely. He seems like an excited little kid when talking about basketball.
The Clippers endured 33 years of Donald Sterling, the worst owner in professional sports. It's fitting that they now have one of the best.
@@danielt6689 It's wild seeing him at the games. He's so excited. Someday I want to catch a Clippers game.
As a Lakers fan I got a lot of respect on someone like Steve who really loves the game and wants the BEST for his team. New arena looks crazy and it’s gonna be even better for the whole city and basketball culture. Congratulations! 👏🏽👏🏽
Respect from a Laker fan. Thank you
Laker fan or clipper fan... you can't deny the brilliance of Steve Ballmer and what he's brought into the LA community
Awe... Hi! It's going to be great!👌🏾💯🥰Honor to the LA Clippers Organization!🙏🏾💕🎉🌟 Family!
Steve was raised in Detriot but his heart is for LA
Hopefully with all of this talk about "The Wall" of fans, I hope they're doing something like the Utah Jazz arena where the stands are so steep and intimate that it looks like the crowd is basically on top of the players.
I'm a Clippers fan/ season seats holder. I'm now a wall seat holder. Just got it in June. It's going to be exciting because the wall will be all Clippers fans. I can't wait to light up the visitors team bench up.
This is cool as hell! I hope to visit one day!
I wonder if Ballmer tried to buy the adjacent buildings because the arena looks a little hemmed in. Full frontage onto Century would have been nice but I'm sure the finished product will be spectacular.
There's no energy like Steve Ballmer energy
I wish i could buy the ticket now for when my Warriors play the clippers here man i can’t wait … y’all lucky nice new arena
We’ll see u here!! Go clippers!
Jerry West of the West. I was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York and until the Lakers faced off for the NBA Championship against the New York Knicks in 1970 and 1973, the Lakers games were aired hardly ever in New York City. The only time we saw Jerry West play was when the All-Star game was aired on ABC-TV and he was a member of the West All Stars.. So, we knew him as Jerry West of the West. Not Jerry West of the Lakers.
❤
When a former Microsoft ceo builds a stadium you get a Minecraft esq stadium lol it looks just like the blue prints where created using minecraft 😂😂
Wish he would have taken this team to Seattle
What kind of tablet is that? Is that an IPAD? IPAD CAN BE USED FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROGRAMS?
Yes. The newest iPad Pro uses the same chip as the MacBook Air. Which is better than most PC laptops.
I prefer the Clippers to move to Anaheim, so they can join the Ducks and the Angels. The Honda Center is a good fit for them. Or, they can go back to San Diego, along with the Chargers, too.
Nah, I like Inglewood. Similar to when the Warriors were in Oakland, it speaks basketball in the community and a pick up games at the park on a Sat. I got next......I like that it is next to So Fi and it will be unlike any other stadium. SBalmer did his homework on this one. Well, when you get to his position, I imagine it's in his DNA. The Clippers are the beneficiaries of it. I am glad their practice facility will be in the same building, that they will have a basketball park outside of the arena and that big screen for people to watch, who may not be able to afford to take in a game that day can still enjoy themselves. It will bring more fans for the Clippers and if that score board is anything like the SoFi board, wow, it will be dope. The only think I do not like is the gentrification issue, so for that reason, I wish it were in another city. Steve Balmer, yes, is creating a lot of great new jobs, but the same thing happens when black families have been forced to move because landlord shoot up prices. That is not equitable. I hope with this new stadium, that it creates more diversity, so the same displacement we have always seen when revenue is at the center of things, does not happen to Inglewood. I already see changes, but weren't these changes made prior. What does that say about how we invest in people and human value. Just sayin............Glad for the Clippers, but I hope it works for the community as well.
@@JONIJOHNSON28 , but it's fair if Orange County can have an NBA team, too. Or go back to another city.
I agreee with Joni Clippers are Good in Inglewood 🙏 Great Job Steve
@@frankieguy20 , no, they should go to another city; Lakers will always run Los Angeles.
@@steviefelix9358 you seem a little obsessed :-)
Hopefully they change that horrible logo lol
Should have an eclipse imo
@@NotaPizzaGRL yes, i hate that. Its horrible. They need to get some community artists to revamp and have some sort of contest to see what is the best one. It needs to speak Clipps revamp and community
Nah. Not anybody else. Not anybody el. /
Back in the 90s I had a girlfriend that lived on 102nd and Prarie right where the arena being built ... I was in the 8th grade
I have always said this stadium will be better than the Sofi stadium. Sofi is a HORRIBLE stadium being open and next to ghetto Inglewood. Can't wait for this stadium to open soon 👏
Yeah but Intuit Dome is right across the street from Sofi so it's actually still in as you say "ghetto Inglewood"
lol Intuit dome is just about a block away from SoFi so that "ghetto" will still very much be in play here aswell
@Erik Or years of neglect and redlining but hey don't take my word for it
Inglewood is not ghetto. They are fixing up now, wonder why....Anything can be ghetto based on what is invested in it.
