It's foolish to decide to ban homeless people from sleeping in public. It's not possible for them to find a place to stay if rent keeps increasing. If they want to solve the issue, they should build a million tiny, bare houses with no water pipes or electricity-just simple, plain shelters that cost nothing. Give them a tiny house with a key to the door. It's up to them to upgrade it or leave it as it is. There should be no taxes or extremely low taxes, like $50 a year. Then the issue could be resolved.
The homes would need to be in areas where the homeless can get good jobs, such as by a decent public transit system in a urban area. The transit system would need to come by every 15 min and go to areas of real density where job options are more plentiful and more easily obtained including places like malls.
I wonder what the cost of tents is & not nice at public places? It looks like sore eyes. Why not work part-time, they dislike paying taxes as no excuse. Me, too hating taxes til I die. 🫤

“Not fault” part I don’t get it. I know depends on different stories. But you don’t know some homeless’s choices and family/friends hard help them but the homeless refuse to listen to them. So family/friends have to give up. Let them go. You know they are adults and you can’t stop their choice. Be careful sometimes they like to exploit for money and buy something that is not the right stuff. You don’t know if a homeless’s life is a different “struggle life” or a “bad person”.
