League City is pretty dope! That’s where I get tattooed lol. I’ve only had one client move there though. They moved to the historic district, it’s a cool spot! It’s just not one that’s on many people’s radar.
Thank you for sharing. The woodland famous for oil companies... yes, houses are expensive ,and houses are closing by running down areas.( stay away from acres homes...). Best place to live, jobs, good/great school/stores. to shop.. Harris County: Houston TX -- River Oaks( ck out Central Market), Highland Villages, West University , Memorial City area(I-10), Fort Bend: Sugar Land( High professional/education, most doctors and nurses live in Sugar land.). River Stone, Sienna Plantation. Some of the Northside are bad. So, be careful do your homework.
You are absolutely correct. I’ve found that each individual family/person has different wants, needs, and likes. Like you said, it’s important to do the homework on any place you’re thinking about moving to. I am a huge advocate for people wanting to move here to come and visit first, drive around as much as possible and get a good feel for the areas they are interested in. Most people will say they like an area based on research and then get here and hate it lol. BUT that’s part of my job…helping people through that process 👍🏽
The woodlands is ok. Kingwood is ok. Kingwood was annexed by the city of Houston a while back and people are still upset about it. Most of the places are full of country people...just saying...

I’d say I have a handful of friends in Kingwood that are a tad country, but the vast majority of people that I know from The Woodlands and Kingwood are not country at all. I mean they like country music though lol
These are new subdivisions & less than 5 years old. Most Houstonians moved out of Houston areas and smear out to Sugar Land, Katy, Richmond, Rosenberg, Fulshear..Houses are very expensive due to many people moved to TX.
@@rosekroger7147 very true! Seems as the surrounding areas keep developing people keep moving further out. I’m seeing so many people that work remotely now moving as far out as they can. They get so much more for the money.
I was there a few months back with someone moving from CA. That area is in the beginning stages of development, lots of new construction and not much infrastructure in the immediate area. That person in particular wasn’t too excited about the surrounding areas. It’s definitely a place to check out and be sure it’s a good fit.
Which area are you asking about? Property tax varies by where you live. Some parts of town can be around 2% and some can be upwards of 3.7% (the highest I’ve personally seen).
Hey I currently live in the Rancho cucamonga Ca area near victoria gardens area. what suburb would you consider similar to Rancho? Also I grew up in the south bay area so I know the 405 fwy traffic is a trigger lol I work for In n out been with the company 19 yrs so I’m looking to be near a INO as well. ALSO I REALLY NEED DIVERSITY! and good school
