Most worn is the second hand Patagonia puffer jacket and Jigsaw trench which I'm considering dying dark green so it will go with more from my colour pallate..

I'm new in the trenchcoat game, so I first bought a cool toned one from h&m second hand. The fit is good but there is no lining inside. I will try to incorpororate it into my wardrobe and maybe I will invest in a better quality some day. As long as I'm not sure about an item in my style I prefer to buy a cheaper one to find out if it's right for me.

I purchased a Burberry trench earlier this year and ended up returning it. The style wasn't quite right for me and I was afraid to wear it (because of the light color and price point).
I still find myself longing for one so I think I'm going to go for a vintage style and have it tailored (if it needs it). It will be cheaper and probably better quality anyway!
Good job on returning it! Seriously! Did you consider going with a darker color? They are so chic in black and khaki too. There are tons on vestiarie, you could have a look there! xx

Hello Naja! I remember the first video you made about this coat. Right around the time I found my Burberry discounted online 😀 I will also get mine tailored. It is a bit too long. Having said that, I did wear it for most of the winter and spring and I could not be happier. Great to see how well your coat is working in your wardrobe, particularly how it holds up with 'real-world' wear. Yes, these costs per wear videos are a definite motivation. Thank you!

Also, if you haven't already, I recommend Poshmark. I just received a late 80s early 90s vintage Burberry trenchcoat with additional winter lining for under 300.00 USD in immaculate condition and it fits wonderfully. Lots of other Poshers were posting very fair pricing for other pieces in the Burberry line, too. Best of luck!
Cost/ wear really changed the game for me. It made me very aware that cheap items stayed at a high price/ wear since most of the time I bought them because of their price, while my more expensive pieces go down very easily because these are the pieces I actually feel myself in 🖤

I love this style of video! A Burberry trench coat might not be in my future haha but your everlane jeans video did encourage me to pull the trigger on a perfect secondhand pair of the 90s cheeky. I am pretty picky about denim and so far so good :) (should also mention that i had been eyeing them for at least a year prior)

Coucou Naja! Ca va bien? I am wondering if you would do a video about picking cool-coloured clothes. I am also a cool-coloured person and find it sometimes difficult to shop them. Maybe you can give some info about the names the brands give to their colours (like honey and tan, you mention here) and wich normally are cool or warm toned. All tips you have for us would be great!!!

I love a trench coat, it's a classic piece. I have one(not Burberry) but I find l don't wear it that much because here in the UK it rains a lot Autumn/winter and I then wear a coat with a hood as I don't like umbrellas or it's too warm for one in spring/summer!
