In this video I review EVERYTHING you need to know for the 2021 AP Calculus AB exam. On the AP Calculus AB exam you are NOT given a formula sheet. Therefore I have put together this video reviewing all of the formulas and procedures you must know cold for the AP Calculus Exam. I go over all of the theorems, differentiation rules, integrations rules and applications of derivatives and integrals that you'll need to know to be successful on the AP Calculus Exam.
In my 15 years of teaching AP Calculus this is by far one of the MOST valuable resources I have ever found for AP exam preparation and I hope it helps you.

It is 11:05 pm. The test starts in less than 9 hours. This video is the start of my studies, and will be the last of them. I will update in July. Wish me luck only God can save me now.
hey, im doing this rn too. remember, only 24.8% percent of people got a 2 or 1 last year, so youd have to be in the bottom 25% to fail. However seeing as both of us are here right now, maybe we are the bottom 25%. Good luck! Ill most likely wont be thinking of you when i wake up because ill be stressed out of my mind but i sure hope you pass!

I took it today, and I must say that it's far more important to know WHEN to use formulas and theorems than the stuff itself because I spent twice the amount of time figuring out what the questions meant than solving them;-;
@@qwenm824 very good point. You can memorize this stuff all day, but if you don't know when to apply it, you're stuck! This is why it's important to work through previously released Free Response Questions so that you get experience with them. How do you think you did?

I literally came across this video as I was walking in to take the test and I found that almost everything that was in the review came on the exam and it was a good review.

This will still apply even for the digital exam because it covers the same curriculum. Also I put up 6 videos going over the 6 Free Response questions that they released from the Paper exam in May. Hope that helps!

Do yourselves a favor kids, don't do math. Calculus is a gateway drug to more complex math subjects. Like complex analysis, where the stuff you analyze get pretty complex

Im in calc BC. My exam is on May 9thth. We have never worked with the integrals of Tan, sec literally ever.

Well for tanx you just multiply it by secx/secx. Then you get tanxsecx/secx. Then do u substition: let u = secx. So du = secxtanx. Finally, you have du/u. By integrating that you get ln|u| + C. Replace u with x. You get ln|secx| + C.
For secx, just multiply that by (secx + tanx)/ (secx +tanx). Now, we have (tanxsecx + sec²x)/(secx + tanx) Let u to be secx+tanc. So du = sec²x + secxtanx. Recognize that numerator is u and denominator is du. By integrating du/u. You get ln|u| + C. Replace u with the x. The result is ln|secx+tanx| + C.
