I have a 2023 model. If I were to follow all these steps for tuning and getting my ECU unlocked can I still avoid getting my warranty voided. In the video they said you can go back to stock and I was just wondering if there was a way or a risk/possibility for the Toyota techs to find out that I tuned my car and have my warranty voided
looking into using the dme unlock service that you have linked but theres no contact info for this service and description says 2020 and 21 unlock does he not do 22+??
Yes anything you do to the motor or ecu/dme will void warranty and you can ask the dealer if you could do cosmetic mods if they will or not void warranty
Only if it’s the reason for something breaking. If u got an oil leak, they need to prove it’s cuz of the tune. If it’s not bc of tune for example, it’s covered under warranty.
Yes they can cause more wear. But modern ecus actually control and help protect. They watch the thermals and will soften or turn off even if the thermals get too high. I always caution doing it on the extreme level. But modern technology makes it pretty cool. Older ECUs it’s more dangerous. This an OEM feature. It can actually be pretty loud stock.

You need a femto unlock, bench unlock isn’t possible for us. I went with euro performance center, very quick turn around time
