I was in London for a vacation and so this was one of the lines I got to ride on the underground while I was there. I live in the suburbs of Washington DC and the Victoria line trains sound like the 5000 series trains on WMATA our Metro/Subway system
That would be because of the motors they use. These trains are built by Bombardier (lots of British Bombardier trains sound like this- not exactly the same and not all) but I would assume those trains you have are also built by them

I know that new tube stock need floors of contrasting colours to show where the doors are but i don't like how the light coloured floor shows dirt so easily could see the dirt on the floor from this vid, London overground's light coloured floor also shows dirt.
