    Great walkthrough. I'm looking at the 52 and the 58. Love how open they are. Thanks for posting.

    Ive seen many videos for your boat.
    Trust me, nothing like an owner perspective. May I suggest that you create a video series that curtails all of your views good, bad or indifferent.
    Another wonderful video.
    Keep them coming and thanks for letting us alongside!

    What is your bridge clearance? Getting through the Erie Canal we have a maximum clearance of 17 feet

    • @MV-SullAcqua
      @MV-SullAcqua  Год назад

      Your not likely to make it that low on this boat, unfortunately. We are on the Erie now going eastbound, but entered via the Oswego Canal. Lowest height we are experiencing is close to 20 feet and all is good now that we added a hinged mast. A new video is uploading now that shows what we installed. Currently our FLIR is our highest point at about 19 feet.

    Great boat! Question I have always wondered and that is can this boat make a continental crossing? It seemed to handle rough seas very well. Wishing you happy voyages!

    • @MV-SullAcqua
      @MV-SullAcqua  Год назад +1

      There are different classes to boats and this one is a Class B - Offshore - These boats are designed to go offshore with the ability to handle winds up to gale force 8 of 40 knots, and seas up to 13 feet (3.96 meters). For maximum continental crossing confidence, you might consider a Class A boat. We are confident navigating this one down the Atlantic coast and from Florida to the Bahamas. Hope this helps your research.

      We bought the electric bicycles at Costco, a US warehouse type store (made in China). Similar to this: ruclips.net/video/hSEYBMztGAE/видео.html
      The night vision FLIR we have is the M332.

      By the way since you own the same boat, I created a new Facebook Group called Absolute Navetta Owners Group. If you use Facebook, be sure to join it. You’ll also see soon a way that I’ve mounted road bicycles on the upper outside of the boat. I’ll post that soon.

    do run the seakeeper 24/7?

    • @MV-SullAcqua
      @MV-SullAcqua  Год назад +2

      No, I do not; however, I have found it particularly helpful when docking or leaving the dock. Seems to help the roll-effect that occurs when using the joystick/pods moving sideways. It takes about 20 minutes to spool up, so I generally play it by ear as to whether I feel we need to reduce the rolling. Highly congested boating areas are definitely a place I use it. Hope that helps.

    Would you buy a boat that in your language means literally "a cow barn"? Me neither

    • @MV-SullAcqua
      @MV-SullAcqua  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, that’d be a tough decision. Probably difficult to name a product in one language without the word meaning something totally unintended in another language. I will say that the spaciousness inside is like a barn, though. 😆
