- Sull'Acqua has some new features added to her in anticipation of our journey of a lifetime going from Milwaukee, WI to Florida and Bahamas. This video shows our top 5 add-on for 2022.
We have similar plans for the future (much older boat, however: Carver 460 2004). I added the Seaview mast device (manual) for our Radome. You need to be a little careful when it folds up and down that the wires retract into the mount and don't get pinched by the base returning to its normal position. It will interfere with the normal radar function. We don't have a watermaker but do have 3 of 5 of your addons. Couldnt agree with you more!!
Just found and watched your 5 videos. In video 4 you are docked at MEYR in Holland kitty-corner from our Sabre. Although we live in and boat out of Chicago, we have had our boats serviced and stored with MEYR for 15 years for their top notch quality. I am enjoying your videos AND would appreciate a few closeups of your Garmins while at cruise to get a sense of your performance and fuel consumption besides in no wake and slow zones. Maybe you could provide commentary of actual results.
Keep up the fascinating posts.
I demand you add a sixth add-on: more videos, please.
Great idea on Star Link.
very interesting! I hope for new videos!
Do you have a link to the new fly bridge material? Looks great!
Another great video. Can't wait to see your travels down to FL and Bahamas. We are thinking of buying the same boat. Now that you've had the boat awhile, I'm wondering about reliability, pod drives, service issues, cost, etc? How have things gone overall and anything to watch out for. Thanks.
Thanks, we’re glad you like the videos. You can also follow along on our Instagram, which is added to daily. @Sull.Acqua
@@MV-SullAcqua Thanks. Would you be up for a call to talk about the Navetta 52?
@@andrewlitt287 for sure! Go to our Instagram and send a DM. I’ll reply there with a phone number.
Glad to find this video! As to #2, the motorized tilting antenna/ radar mount-- what is is your Air Draft/ Bridge Clearance before and after tilting?
The nice footage of the green bridge-- is its height known?
I had been inquiring if it would be possible to hinge mount the entire hardtop support arch and gain feet instead of inches, to optimize ones route options on the Great Loop and elsewhere.
Appreciate your insights. Thanks!
I don’t know the height differential-sorry. You can do the entire Great Loop with the mast hinge I used. My highest point is not the mast-it’s the FLIR mounted on the top front. It’s 15”. We got under bridges that were 20’ with no problem (and plenty of room to spare)when I had the FLIR camera off. The lowest Great Loop bridge is 19’7”. Fill the boat full of fuel and provisions and you’ll gain more clearance too.
