It's not even that, even the ones who acknowledge the harassment, will downplay it by claiming it 'can't have been that bad' because the Vtuber didn't quit entirely and instead popped up under a different management.
In all seriousness, I figured the graduation was more long-term planned than it was harassment related, but the harassment likely accelerated it. Voms is a relatively small group that is pretty much 'independents who don't own their personas'. They aren't able to provide the same options as more established groups, and also not the same ability to support their talents in situations like the twitter harassment one.

There are a lot of Vtubers that disappear just to resurface as a different persona. It mostly happens when a character is unpopular, but I guess it can happen when you graduate as well.

To be fair, if you watched Gyari's public statement about Pikamee's graduation, she didn't change her identity to escape the harassment. She was already going to graduate, but the harassment likely expedited her departure and made her go completely silent for almost a month. These guys are still disgusting and they're coping hard, but claiming that she felt she had to change her online identity to stop the harassment is a false narrative. The change was inevitable regardless if she was harassed or not. Not that it excuses or justifies the harassment in any way, though.

Yes, it's been confirmed that Pikamee was already planning on changing places. However, twitter people are taking it as a "proof" that nothing negative happened. Hopefully they don't use this as another excuse for the weird witch hunt that happened months prior, to her (Pikamee/Henya) and many other people.

When she left VOMS it was under the Press Release that it was already planned but it seemed so sudden after the Twitter Freaks attacked.
It brings 2 thoughts.
1) She left VOMS so that the people there wouldn't get dragged knowing how Twitter Freaks are, then joined Vshojo knowing that she'd be more free considering which people have joined.
2) or it was actually planned to leave, she didn't have any plans after until Kson got involved and convinced her.
Just reminder that Companies often do Press Release to make stuff look more amicable or "nice."
For example Amber Turd PR made a press release that said she donated 7million to charity but turned out that wasn't the case in closed doors.
Our biggest fear was that she was scared away from vtubing ALTOGETHER. We thought we had lost our kettle and that she had been broken to the point of depression.

Henya is probably going to find it harder to try to be coy about her identity as time goes on. Pikamee constantly shared stories about her mom and her childhood, and her background is so unique that it's going to be pretty hard for her to hide it as she gets more comfortable with her new audience and starts opening up.
I don't think she's hiding it, its her personality. I think she's just doesn't want people to associate with a different persona or at least the old one at least not yet

I speculate that it wasn't exactly Pika who wanted to leave Voms, but rather Voms that reccomend she graduate after backlash about HL. Similar to how other Vtuber agencies graduate their members over controversy. I'm glad she's with Vshojo now, at least she can tell haters to fu*k off when she needs to.
Pikamee unfortunately will never return which will always be really sad.
But the next best thing with Henya is that the personality *behind* Pikamee has returned to streaming, so while we lost one character, we have gained another and moreover we get to continue to enjoy the person that Henya is once again!

The reason is because a lot of the more troublesome members have left VShojo, the biggest one being Nyanners herself. The whole debacle with Nux Taku was mostly pushed by her jealousy and hatred of him that was unfounded, and it's clear that the person behind Nyanners hasn't changed in all this time, so her leaving is a good thing.
It is Pikamee. Lol, you are in denial if you don't think so. It is more than obvious. She was going to VShojo and got bullied. Both happened.

The graduation might've delayed Pikamee, but the graduation HASN'T stopped Pikamee from doing what she loves. Truly a happy new beginning for our cheerful Vtuber.
Hogwarts legacy stuff wasn't what made her quit and it wasn't why the pikarmy was mad about activists bullying her.
Her real fans knew she was going to quit VOMS but the bullying made us lose 1 month of the few we had left with her.
Oh and yeah I'm not even going to argue wether Henya is Pikamee... Let's just say I'm glad we didn't lose a japanese/english vtuber.
I'm somewhat new to the vtuber scene and wasn't really aware of Pikamee before all this but I feel awful for her dedicated fans. First she gets harassed by people into a month long hiatus, and then you have people come in just to try to weaponize her graduation against a group of people they hate while giving all her fans a nasty reputation in the process. I'm really glad she's well and she's back. I'm going to be watching her from now on!
