This stuff is exhausting and ruins good things and I'm at the point where I just don't care about these groups anymore. They always do this crap. At this point they deserve all the hate they keep piling on themselves for not only allowing these people to represent them but not saying much of anything about it at all. They always get mad when people wanna stay out of politics saying stuff like "your silence says everything" yet don't hold up to that same philosophy when crap is coming from their own. Honestly hope there's huge consequences for this crap at some point. My sympathy and tolerance has run dry.

Absolutely, the fact that they don't set themselves appart from all the shit that's being said 100% falls into the silence thing. And I hope it backfires for them. Just look at how horribly the feminist movement did, half of the people I know hate them because they are tired (me included), and for people like us this is just history repeating itself, many of those people I know went straight to hating on these new groups and mocking them because we all knew what was gonna happen, but people still let it happen. And it's always the most basic stuff that offends them, like games, movies, content creators... They say they are in for inclusion but then they have a historic movie where no one in the cast matches the race of the people that lived there and were part of the event. They say they are opressed, but have the power to end someone's career over something they "just did not like".
There is a quote I love from a comedian called Ricky Gervais that I think completely embodies how many of us feel:

Normal shouldn't look like: Everyone is Gay, Lesbian, Trans, or Painted with flag colors. Everyone has to know their labels. Everyone has to listen and obey everyone else's wishes without question, or else you are 100% in the wrong!
Normal should look like acceptance, not a take over. Being able to accept and speak about your Trans friends, or being Trans, or being Gay, Lesbian, Non-Binary, Whatever, and not be judged or hated on it. But they got exactly what they were trying not to get because they couldn't let anyone else have an opinion. *They* had to be the ones in the right, because only *They* know what is right or wrong.

Though this isn't even anime. They're just glorified streamers doing shit behind an anonymous persona.
It still doesn't change the fact though that what happened to Pikamee was arguably leagues worse than what happened to someone like ProJared. Pikamee didn't even commit to doing the Hogwarts stream, she got bullied off the internet for even just intending to play it. Like, at least with ProJared, we all thought he actually did something fucked up at first. That's not to say what happened to ProJared was justified either (we should've waited for all the facts from both sides), but Pikamee literally did nothing wrong.
This whole "guilty by association" horse shit is just getting incredibly out of hand on the internet. I just don't fully buy this idea that "everything is political" and that "buying Hogwarts Legacy supports the oppression of trans people", JK Rowling would've still kept sending fucking letters to congress regardless of whether or not we kept giving her money. If you really wanted to stop this sorta shit, pass federal laws to protect these sorts of rights.
Though at that point, we'd have to finally figure out shit like "should teens be allowed to undergo hormone therapy at an early age, or are they not emotionally mature enough yet?" Like, the entire reason people even still argue about this stuff (beyond just bigots wanting to make life hard for trans people) is because there are morally grey situations like that. If this discussion were so cut and dry, it wouldn't be so heavily politicized.

I was personally friends with a few of the larger trans vtweeters who kicked off and perpetuated the brigading against silver and pikamee. They are trans- not allies. They fed the ongoing hostility and continue to feed it now. They're actually deranged. (And now that it's women's history month, there's a whole new topic where they can claim trans hate over)

My only worries is that I am seeing so many people on twitter generalizing the ENTIRE trans community that they are to blame for it, and I have been seeing a surprising amount of people say some very filthy things about it, I understand the anger and it's fine to be angry but I worry that innocent people are just going to be harmed out of this Just like what happened to Pikamee, and I know that's not what Pikamee wants.
This entire situation is just frustrating and depressing for me, I loved Pikamee, and I have many trans friends, and I worry for them because of this happening and I worry for the burden Pikamee has to deal with here.

I definitely agree with your take on the "She was planning on graduating before this."
If true, it means that the little time she had left she had to take a break from the harassment, knowing that would most likely mean less time away from her fans. We also don't know when the graduation was planned. it could've been in a month like it is now, or it could've been a few months down the line, but either her or the agency felt the need to shift it to an earlier date.
At the end of the day, whilst you can't claim the harassment was the only reason for graduating, you also can't downplay the effects it had on her.

Yes, Pomu said that Pikamee told her she was quitting during her break. Based on the context though, I'm pretty sure that she meant the break after the harassment, not before. She just wanted to point out that she had known about it before the announcement. Lots of hololive members said similar things when Coco was quitting. I think it's just a way to be honest and clarify that you've had more time to think about it than everybody else. We don't know for sure, but unless one of them clarifies otherwise, that makes more sense.

If you think about it, "graduation" may be a coping term for escape for people who were bullied in high school. I wasn't necessarily bullied in my school or anything but there were lonely times when I couldn't wait for graduation to come so that I could get out of that hellhole. In this situation graduating might be a verbal tick some one says when they want to get out of a hostile situation and and it makes sense considering Pikamee's history of being bullied.
