Wow I'm 44 and I've been listening to this song since I grew up from time to time whenever somebody would play it and had no clue what a powerful work of art this song truly is. A spiritual truth at it's finest. I played it with the lyrics for the first time and sung along. I think I'll be listening all week learning the lyrics. The entire album “Songs In The Key Of Life” is Stevie at his best. Mind you, he didn’t peak with this album, he just kept releasing songs after this that showed that he is a true master of his craft.

As I was searching for “that” song to help celebrate the first year anniversary with my wife (who’s my true soulmate), this incredible song came on the local radio (105.3 WDAS, Philadelphia) and it literally stopped me in my tracks. For nearly 8 minutes. Thank you, Stevie, and thank you, “Cat” (who designed a video of what was likely in Stevie’s mind’s eye when he wrote this masterpiece of masterpieces). ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I remember once I looked at so many videos that came to mind because I wanted to see if there were any thumbs down. This was years ago when I was rather naive and I found out there wasn't one that didn't have a dislike on it. Rick, classic songs fade... I haven't thought of this one in years, but I agree that Cat T's presentation is amazing. These lyrics are literarily timeless. They're a beatuiful prayer. We should vow to memorize the message they embody and strive to feel that way every day towards all beings. I think this is what the author intended when he wrote them❤🙏
Beautiful comment Rafael, however I take issue with one thing you said. I don't believe classic songs fade. Not as long as we keep them alive in our hearts and minds by access to Radio, TV, Movies, CD and other forms of media where you can still find classic songs today. Plus, least I not forget, RUclips where with just a click of a button we can hear that song come alive again. As long as we have all that, these songs will not ever totally fade from our memories. This video is Outstanding Cat! This album is special. My younger sister Dawn Marie was the second oldest in our family, I was the old guy. I went over to her house one night and she told me I had to stay at least an hour to hear Stevie Wonder's new album. A ice cold pint and 2 tokes, she put on the album. WOW!!!! I couldn't move for awhile anyway and it's some of Greatest music I'd ever heard for the first time. I lost her back in 06 and miss her so much. I Love you Dawn Marie. Love your Brother Doug
