2:24 It's amazing how none of the FF6 version other than three 16-bit original are able to replicate the smooth BGM transition of the original. All subsequent versions just abruptly start the next musical movement after the defeat of each final boss tiers. Whereas in the original even after defeat the game will allow the prior musical movement to play out before smoothly transition to the next movement.
I’m not a programmer but shouldn’t it be able to be done by programmers because it’s not even a technical issue, just a coding one. I wonder why the other versions directors never put in the effort.
SNES is the best version. Pixel remaster sucks, GBA version sucks unless you use the romhack to restore SNES music and most of the sound and have a flashcart for GBA. It also reduces a lot of lag
@@TheBanishedWind It's all based around Catholic imagery and ideas. The whole thing is based on Dante's journey from Hell to God Himself in the Divine Comedy, starting with the story's depiction of Satan, and then features twisted reimaginings of the concept of Purgatory, Michelangelo's Pieta, and the famous image of God reaching out to Adam.
@@victorianavaughan9746 no it’s pretty blantant that’s the theming. Especially when you look at the accompanying music for each phase and the specific statues that each phase represents. The bottom part literally represents a demon with a hellish track, clearly ill using to hell.
Ah,Dancing Mad. I love this game. All versions. But I like the SNES version a bit better cause it chains the music transitions better. Still, great job, can't wait to see your next project.
I've always loved the GBA version solely cause of the drums and bass, that calm segment in Dancing Mad Kefka's segment feels so fucking good with those GBA drum smashes
At the Pokemon company "Hey wasn't Setzer from Final fantasy cool?" "Yep" "How about we make a villain for the new games like Setzer?!" "…Genius" Couple months later… GHEEET-SIS "Hey that looks like Setzer."
Cool vid. A bit strange that Sabin still had Doom status, though the timer was gone. Must be a simple bug since it didn't carry over from the Lady/Rest fight.
Kefka was defeated and his heart changed to good. The remaining pieces of his body travelled to another land. Now, he helps children as he multiplies the 6th item they have in their backpack. His new name? He's Missingno.
This boss battle is a reference to The Divine Comedy
Really?

this is why i still prefer snes emulator to play it

Hell, purgatory, heaven, Lucifer. theres the reference
U think
Which is funny because Purgatory has no Biblical basis

Lot of symbolisms in this fight....interesting.....

To witness the final ascent
one of the tripiest shit ever played
I think you should lay off the acid.
The first form of Kefka's Tower, I thought it was Kefka first time I played. ._.
I think it's all him
I thought he was a girl till now
@@kuribo04 That is correct. All of them are effigies of Kefka.

Faye from finding paradise
Simplemente Majestuoso La venida de Kefka aunque es un Jefe Muy Facil de Matar
Phantom Rush? It was called bum rush in my version. It made me laugh every time I used it! Sabin tossing bums!
Who else is with me?
I thought bum referred to butt. But this is equally funny
tee hee
Adam Hadaller it was a mistranslation sadly. They fixed it on gba
@@finnvaneekelen7740 Not necessarily. Most likely it's a character space availability issue. Also "Bum Rush" is slang for QUICK BEATDOWN.
After so many bosses, Kefka is finally here. Seriously, how many freakin bosses ARE there in FF VI? I lost my count...
If you noticed, everything single one of the tiers after actually effigies of Kefka himself.
Love this game!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
yah

Bro, Kefka didn't have the slightest chance of being able to attack haha🤣🤣
@UmbraBlaze He was an imp. Imp is a status effect in FF6.
Oh boy i hope this game release on switch with ffv, iv, iii, ii and i
Setzer looks like Ghetsis from pokemon oddly enough.

@sora412zx Well yes, but Kefka/other enemies used it before him.
I wonder how SquareEnix will make this boss fight if they decided to make FF6R??
Marvelously epic I bet.

I didn't understand
Not even the same company. Totally nonsensical.
Why is Curaga's animation so slow in this version?
If you use silence on Magic it'll silence it for the rest of the battle.
You know you can multi cast float?
how the fuck did he not use forsaken (goner)
Very late but it seems the use of quick stopped him from using it
😠😡🎮!👿 me: all right you son of b**** have enough with you tell me bring back my mother
