Yes, I follow a guy that was working in Seattle, that lost half of his body, meaning no legs, genitals and is in constant pain.so, please bucket down.❤
Jordan you have a wife and daughter counting on you, hence, I'm going to give you a huge safety tip!!! Multiple times during this video, I see the bucket on the bobcat/skidsteer in the air...OUCH...I personally know of a couple of individuals that were crushed, when the hydraulics failed for various reasons, and they were pinned between the bucket and the bobcat/skidsteer. Way sad, their families still struggle after all these years. And there have been hundreds of other great people killed from getting under suspended loads. Just note, you've not had enough safety training as it's hard to come by and expensive. Further note, never get under a suspended load (getting out of the bobcat/skidsteer with the bucket in the air qualifies as getting under a suspended load). Do yourself a favor and never, ever, ever, get under a suspended load, if not for yourself, do it for Kaylee and Sadie...Good luck with the build, i'll be watching!!!
Would it be silly to suggest that you shovel into wheel barrows and remove the dirt away from the building site, all in one go, so your not making mounds of mud to remove later and double handling? And maybe put it in an area where you can build garden beds and use that incredible soil to grow with ❤
Omg at 24:00 I'm crying. I love how you guys are raising Sadie! Such a beautiful moment to have captured! I was raised without a dad/father.she adores you guys so much!
Having to do things on a tight schedule is so 'American' (as noted by a native Texan). Yes, we are obsessed by timelines! Glad you take time for family while getting 'the job' done!
Please either use a dedicated snatch strap or a chain. Don't use a regular cargo strap, they will stretch and snap with enough energy to mortality injure someone.
Please be careful allowing Sadie in the holes with the surrounding wet dirt. A young girl was lost in Florida recently due to beach sand caving in. Excited for this build!! 😊
Leveling soil that is muddy is challenging because heavy equipment, like a skid steer, tends to sink or spin without traction. Here are practical solutions to help level the muddy area effectively: 1. Use Boards or Mats for Traction Lay wooden planks, plywood sheets, or construction mats on the mud to drive the skid steer over them. This distributes the machine's weight and prevents it from sinking. Move the boards forward as the skid steer progresses. 2. Add Material for Stabilization Gravel or sand: Spread a thin layer of gravel, crushed stone, or sand over the mud to create a base that’s easier to work with. This improves traction and helps the wheels avoid sinking. After leveling, you can remove or mix the gravel into the soil if needed. 3. Wait for Drier Conditions If possible, give the mud time to dry out slightly before continuing work. Working in extreme mud risks making the soil more uneven and compacting it too much. 4. Modify the Skid Steer Over-the-tire tracks: If this is a recurring problem, adding tracks to the skid steer will distribute its weight and improve performance in muddy conditions. Tracks prevent sinking and are much better than tires alone. 5. Manual Approach (If the Mud is Severe) Use hand tools, such as rakes, shovels, and a soil leveler, to spread the soil and rough-level it. Once it dries a bit, go back over it with the skid steer. 6. Work in Layers Level the mud in thin, gradual passes rather than trying to fix everything at once. Use the bucket to scrape off small amounts and slowly build up an even surface. Key Recommendation: Start by laying down wood planks, plywood, or mats to give the skid steer traction. If possible, add gravel or sand to stabilize the mud and work in thin layers until the area is leveled. This approach balances efficiency and prevents the machine from getting stuck or causing more ruts in the mud.
No apologies are necessary. I'm so proud of you two. Seeing Saddie say I love you so much was awesome. My grandchildren say I love you this much with their arms open it's the cutest, as cute as Saddie was in this video. Thanks for sharing, love yah Nancy
I would do more than just dig a channel. They will need a full drainage system, anyway. Being on the side of a mountain they should utilize terracing and incorporate french drains.
Thank you for my Sadie “fix”! She’s so sweet. When she said “I love you so much” my heart melted. She’s such a little old lady or really an old soul. She says and knows things that children 9 & 10 years old don’t say or know! They’re so busy with electronics that it’s sad. You two take the time to have conversations s with her and show her “life”. God bless you for that. Some of these young parents today have built in “non-human” care takers and it’s a shame! CONGRATULATIONS on selling out all your coffee! It’s our loss but a nice gain for you. You have a home to build and when the rainy season is finally over, you can pick up the pace. Be blessed and I await the next video.💕
I've operated heavy machinery for over 30 years and it kills to watch Jordan struggle, I wish I could fly down and help show what that machine is capable of doing
Why are none of you wearing 🧤 gloves? My hands would be so sore and calloused. Sadie is living her best life! The insta pot will help feed your family and friends so you can get other things done. Happy Birthday 🎂
Man, oh, man…..you three are amazing..so positive and wholesome watching your life! Thanks for sharing it with us. Some of us, me, are living through you. You make this old lady happy! Merry Christmas!
You can make your own tracks out of old tires and chains wrapped around the tires on your vehicle assuming you already have the clearance to attach it. Just make sure you use chains and bolts that can handle the force you'll put on them.
We are a gluten free family. I use sorghum or buckwheat for almost everything I bake. Most processed mixes have rice flour which is also another allergy for one of us. Fun times trying things that taste good. Stay safe! And Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas you guys and hope you get some dry weather....glad you have help with the digging...nice to you are doing so much yourselves....Sadie is leaarning so much about dirt and worms and bugs....good experiences...Lola was really working hard to help with the digging...what a lovely dog.

Here in Morocco we have the long shovel and its way easier than these ones.. my back hurts just from watching them dig . And sorry but Jordan's technic is way wrong
You guys rock‼️ It takes a little hands on labor but it will all be worth it! You're killin it‼️ Sadie is such a beauty & her innocence & pure love for you both ~ just shine through 🪄
Jordan, did you know you can use the bucket to move the Bobcat? Just put the bucket on the ground, slightly lift the front wheels, then curl the bucket down. It will move you forward a couple of inches.
Yeah, I can smell it here in Michigan, that’s one of my favorite cabbage soup😁👍👍 i’m here watching 6:13 PM Wednesday, December 18 wishing you all a great holiday
I was watching another YT and saw a hack you might like. Guy was shoveling like you, bending over using all of back and lifting up 1shovelful of dirt. He attached another shovel to the existing one, thereby doubling the dirt removed with 1 action! Brilliant! God bless. You’re both awesome and doing great!
Yes I want coffee for my daughter 's birthday coming. Please keep us posted on your order. You have been blessed for your business.❤ Merry Christmas to your beautiful family.
There is a product called Turface that is used on athletic fields to dry them quickly after a downpour. It is sold retail in the United States at stores like WalMart. You might find that a few bags of that will dry out your mud, until the next storm. One version is for muddy surfaces and another is made to help with standing water.
No Coffee! Oh no! Good thing I stock up!!! I am such a coffee snob now! I will only drink Movement coffee. Love it so much! Have a wonderful Christmas!!!❤❤❤
Chains are a good idea, so is. Using hay as a cover when it rains might help. That looks like an ungodly mess outside! Fingers crossed for dry weather. Thanks for apologizing for the lack of coffee. Right now I can’t drink it , but love. To smell it!! Be careful and hug our Sadie tight.
YAYYY Kaylie! Congrats on joining the Instant Pot Gang 😄✊👊🤜🤛Lol🤤. I feel like every mom and dad in the world needs to join for their own sanity, tbh... busy parents need all the help they can get! Especially when you're digging the foundations for a new house! Happy Holidays to you all, sending ya'll lots of love!
Progress being made, sorry for the mud, but you and Kaylee don't quit ❤. Can't wait to see how much you get done. Received my Christmas coffee ☕️ bundles from you and excited to give them as Christmas presents 🎉🎉❤
You guys are amazing and the guys are amazing. Loved Lola going crazy pushing up dirt. Sadie is so sweet and her interaction with you both is so sweet. So Have a Merry Christmas and until the next one be safe and prosper.
I have been watching you guys since you were living in your bus and have enjoyed watching building all your buildings. I ordered 4 boxes of your Christmas sample coffee flavors for my son and son-in-laws along with your 3 of your tea Christmas special for my daughter and myself. I’m hopping they get Lehrer by Christmas. I know the second order of coffee is almost here and the tea is on the way. I can’t wait to see how everyone likes the coffee and tea. I enjoy watching all your You tube videos and seeing the progress you are making on your house. You both are such hard workers and I think it is so nice of you to give the locals a job. Hope it stops raining for awhile so you can get more done. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you.

Awesome work! minus the rain doing dozer work with a bobcat I love it lol This is the hardest part once the foundation frame is up it will all be gravy train! You guys need a pump to remove water so the next day is working weather you will laterally drain ground water so you don't have to do every hole just drain the lowest hole. @@mango8918 plus, why is he making those holes so big? I thought he was putting in a swimming pool, I mean, he’s got a never ending supply of water. Haha

Don't complain about the volcanic soil. I live in western N.Y. near lake Erie. Our soil is clay and broken shale for 2 feet then a solid shale shelf below that.
This size of footing, concrete columns, is so huge. I have built in three countries, currently live near you in Costa Rica. Never seen commercial buildings or large span barns with footing that big. Did students in the USA or architect in Panama calculate loads? Cannot see where loads are so big, to need such massive footers?😊😊😊 What an extreme amount of work.

Also since they're out of coffee they supply Trent and Allie with their coffee supply I think it's called mountain grind also wild Roots Cafe or their channel name wild wonderful off grid coffee also is supplied the Jordan and Haley so if you order from the other channels that's helping Jordan and Kaylee too , these two other channels are a part of the wonderful people out there knowing that they rise by lifting others ☕
The soil looks so rich and healthy you can tell it's volcanic in nature excellent for farming. It must smell incredible love working in vegetable and flower garden. It just beautiful reminds me of the countryside here in Puerto Rico.
This video was such a fantastic one. Seeing you guys work hard; yet, play hard. Bring's so much joy into my heart. I love you guys so much. Sadie and Kaylee are so adorable and beautiful together. While Jordan is the daddy/soon to be hubby to Kaylee, is so darn cute/sweet/funny and just overall sweetheart. WOW!!! Sadie said it perfectly! " I love you so much!" How cute is that??!!😂😂❤❤
I’m sure it’s what they had but a skid with tracks is much better for the job your trying to do and with the wetness of the soil. They run much smoother too .
I made an order on December2ed There’s been a label made for three days and it still has not shipped. I get y’all are a small company but over 16 days 😢
I heard on the news that coffee farms are being inundated with health-threatening issues. I know you all are on top of the coffee business and wonder if you could address the problem and how you're dealing with it. Frankly I think the governments are burning down anything food related.
Hey Ya'll ...we got our coffee tea Christmas special box...Im glad we got it before you sold out...I love watching you...Sadie is so very precious and for sure a PRINCESS!!! I'm praying for you as you press onward and upward is this project...take care...may God bless you...MERRY CHRISTMAS...we LOVE YOU TOO

Did students in the USA or architect in Panama calculate loads? Cannot see where loads are so big, to need such massive footers?😊😊😊 What an extreme amount of work.
@@tonymccreath4540 he’s a weekend warrior builder. That’s what happens when one doesn’t have a background in building. Like they say, he knows just enough to get himself in trouble. Imagine if home in Panama had to be inspected?
X2.............waaaaaay overdone............waaaay. You could put a 10 story CIP hotel on those Grand Canyons...
Dig dig dig dig dig......the troops are marching!!
" I love you so much!" How cute is that??!!😂😂❤❤
Merry Christmas…. We love you guys…..
I’m sure it’s what they had but a skid with tracks is much better for the job your trying to do and with the wetness of the soil. They run much smoother too .
You're so lucky with the soil you have - looks like you'll be able to grow anything!
I love this family so, so, so much!
That soil looks very rich and I'll bet it smells good too. And, it is rock free.
I made an order on December2ed There’s been a label made for three days and it still has not shipped. I get y’all are a small company but over 16 days 😢
I ordered on 11/23, arrived at the NH distribution center on 12/10, left there 12/14 and nothing but crickets since then.
Instapot recipe please that looks like exactly the thing for myself and patients 👊❣️👏🖖 share please?
I heard on the news that coffee farms are being inundated with health-threatening issues. I know you all are on top of the coffee business and wonder if you could address the problem and how you're dealing with it. Frankly I think the governments are burning down anything food related.
